took me a while, but the Video Gallery is now online ...
it can be found in the "914 Info" section under "Miscellaneous". just click on the "914 Related Videos" link and you'll find over 1.2GB of videos ...

we have quite a few AX and Racing Videos as well as Member Videos, TV Ads and more ...

Andy, I have a sort wmv video of a "real 916"...close-up and going for a drive from the perspecitive of the passenger seat.

actually, it's all show ...
you can see on the in-car video that he's intentionally doing the quick steer into the corner to get the rear end to slide out ...
remember, if the tire squeals and you see smoke, you're going slow!
once you're past the optimum slip angle, the additional friction is slowing you down.
the fastest way around a corner does not include any tire noise or smoke ...

You know... It isn't so much a course as it is a toll road. You can drive it just by paying the toll. At least the Nordschliefe. Not sure the Sudschliefe is even in existance anymore... But you probably knew that right?
