But but but... Escondido?
Sounds fun. I'm in.
I don't remember planning a BBQ?
1st ever?
You obviously don't know Joe
It reads "SoCal 914" 1st ever BBQ,
not Lawerence Welk County Champagne Brunch
Speaking of which..................
No Carne Asada for Rubberboy .... he only does tube steak!
Have to miss this one. CIF wrestling championships.
I'm in for Saturday. Perhaps we can get an Orannge County caravan going ?

Funny, I just was thinking about this on my way to work this morning...

Trev,
It's that 914 "brotherhood" thing Something in our genetic makeup attracts us to these cars and the resultant behavioral manifestations become apparent in participatory activities relevant to 914 socio-economic inclusion.
(i.e. roasted dead animal and alcohol consumption interludes, manic timed speed events, compulsive auto-erotic cleaning rituals and excessive expenditures of monetary resources on questionable assets).

Well put - I take it you ain't gonna make the BBQ? Looking forward to seeing your car when its done. Tell Mike said hello, and to get his ass out here for a vacation...
BUMPBUMPBUMP - I got six participants? Maybe no one has seen this thread. Man, I gotta buy meat on Friday - I am gonna get enough for like 15 people. So, atendees may be taking some carne home with them. Sound off if your coming... Or sound off for someone you know is coming....
Oh fine, add two more (me and my wife). I posted on the Other Site as well.
I'll see what sort of Cold-n-Frosty stuff I can dig up.
Cheers!
Peter and Linda
P.S. This assumes that I can get Sean to help me rebuild my rear calipers. Don't want to drive with them right now, too much brake fluid seeping out.
Peter - You don't have to bring your 914 - Just come and hang out - I will have plenty of food - Theres plenty to look at around the shop and this is more of a community building event than anything else...
Hope to see you there..

The official list thus far - If you are coming and not on this list - Hook a brother up and let me know - I realy don't wanna run short on food...
...feel the love
Trever, I have two more that will be joining us. Skip Carter and Suesan Way are good friends and great Porsche people (even if they don't CURRENTLY have a 914!). You may know Skip, I'm not sure... Anyway, they won't be there until noon or so, but the party will just be warming up by then, eh?
Let me know if I can help with anything...
