Mark's (Euro911) BBQ is that day too. FYI
Everyone knows Toast!
I know Herschal and Shawn too.
dw914er,
There is a HUGE So. Cal. 914 group. You should try to come to one of the BBQ's. You'll get to meet us all.
Thanks for posting the breakfast info.
I would enjoy attending, but I am torn over going to the PCA "NEW MEMBER WELCOME PARTY AND IRISH STEW COOKOFF" verses your get together. The PCA event is in Mission Viejo...
BTW, I spoke to a guy at the Pomona Swap Meet on Sunday that had just completed a 1974 914-6 conversion. It's painted something close to Olympic Blue and looks pretty good. He said he didn't post over here and I invited him to join in. I didn't think to get more info from him at the time
Anyway, blue skies and green lights!
I am going to Marks engine drop party - without my car...
Just gonna go meet some new people - If I can make it to Kilarneys I will.
Here is the info on the BBQ and 914 engine swap out on the same day as the Breakfast.

I was planning to go to the PCA Breakfast and then to the BBQ. You can caravan out there with me if you would like.
I don't like to eat or anything.
See ya Saturday.
i think i shall tag along
(i cant afford the go cart event afterwards anyways lol)
I don't know, FREE bbq or $110+ for go-kart racing.
All you have to do for your half at the bbq is pick up a wrench.
I personally like to pick up the 13 mm and just stand there holding it while watching everyone running around trying to find it.
Me I just pick up a pipe wrench and ask if they need anything tightened up seems I never get to help
lol
ill bring some sort of tool
(ill just have my buddy do all the work)
So who is going where Saturday? I'm driving up from San Diego. I'm new to the group, not in PCA (yet), and was looking for a good excuse for a drive.
Sounds good. See you at breakfast.
I am going to the Breakfast, and then to the engine swap posted above.
That is if I get the newly developed GAS LEAK in my 914 fixed by tonight.
Killarney's? At Central Plaza?
Might take the beemer bike.

Wait a minute.....................
I went, got there at about 9. Had some breakfast, said hellos to some members I haven't seen in a while...
Killarney's opens the doors between 8:30 and 9AM for the riverside PCA on their saturdays. They've been getting 70-80 members to show.
