The first novel that I remember reading was A Fall of Moondust.

He was a visionary. In addition to his writings, he proposed the idea of geosynchronous communications satellites.

I Readed 2001 ( helped me to understand some ideas that are hidden in the movie), 2010 and Rama ...
Hes books are always very acurate on the scientific side. That helps to make the stories more believable.

Maybe one day his space "lift" will be built.

2001 A Space Odyssey and A Childhoods End certainly influenced me and kept my head partially in the stars since my own childhood. I miss him already!

He was the greatest. Maybe now he's a starchild. I expect to see him in my TV ( wasn't it? ).
