Step 1: Go to photobucket dot com and click "Join Now" ...don't worry the service is free and you can upload all the pics you want.
Step 2: Now pick a username and password and fill in the required info. No, the cell phone # is not required...so don't put it in there. If you hit this screen, you have to pick a more original username, because someone is using that one.
Once you get it all entered click "I accept! Sign Me Up!"
Step 4: Congratulations! You did it! Now click "here" to go to your album.

Step 5: Click "Choose Files"
This will open up access to the files on your computer. Just click the files you want to put in photobucket.
Once photo has been uploaded from your computer to photobucket, you will be given the option to mane the photo and put a description. I click "skip this step now" Don't worry, you can always add this stuff later.

Once you click "Skip This Step Now", the screen will show a thumbnail of your picture with codes underneath it.
For boards, such as our 914World you want to get the "IMG" code. On photobucket a simple left click on the mouse conveniently copies the code onto your clipboard.
Step 6: Now the fun part! Go to your favorite 914World thread that you want to post a picture on and click the right button on your mouse...this will appear and you simply click "paste" ...Don't worry if the paste option does not show up, just go back to photobucket and click the "IMG" code again to copy it once more.
Viola! The "IMG" code appears and you can make a post as normal!
Don't worry, I won't leave you hanging...there is more!

Step 7: Now if you are so inclined to want to put up multiple pics in photobucket, try the handy-dandy bulk uploader! Click here
You will see a screen like this for a bit...don't worry sometimes it takes a while
Once again you will be able to access the files on your computer through photobucket
You can click "Select All" pictures in a certain folder, then click "Upload"

And last but not least...you will have a bunch of codes that you can post in your friendly 914world posts!!!!
I hope this helps. It is a hard process to simply explain, sometimes pics do a better job! So now you can finally show us pictures of your ride!!!

Nice job. Being a complete idiot I have to ask, after you plant the IMG code into a reply , do the photos show in the thread or just a link to them?

The images will show up in your thread, exactly like the screenshots I have shown.

Your pic will show up on the tread like this picture of Roberts pretty '75! (I love the black!)
