914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Fuel Pressure Regulator

Which way do I turn the screw on the fuel pressure regulator for more pressure. I'm trying to compensate for a weak fuel pump that I'll replace in the next few days.

THanks! beerchug.gif

In, clockwise, tighter.

Think tighten the screw for tighter pressure (more), loosen the screw for looser pressure (less).

Turn the direction that makes the needle in your pressure gauge go up! wink.gif

If you're messing with the pressure, you really should have a gauge on it.

Leave it alone until you get a new pump. You really need a guage in line to adjust it though.

If your pump can't flow adequate fuel at the stock pressure, it won't be able to flow adequate fuel at a higher pressure. Don't eff with the pressure reg. Get a new pump.
