Hey all, I am currently stateside on leave and in Branson, Missouri for about a week before I head off to Tampa Florida. Just wanted to know if anyone is around these areas as I would love to link up and take a look at what you have done with/to your 914s. PM me if you'd be interested in having a beer.

No, will stay away from CENTCOM, my middle son is graduating High School so I am going to see him graduate. I am staying at a relatives house and I think we get in late on the 26th. Will give you guys a yell when I get in.

I was just in the Missouri area visiting my family. Enjoy Branson. I was supposed to take my wife there a couple weeks ago but it didn't work out.

Let me know when you get back to Germany. I should finish my 914 in a month or so. How is yours coming along?

Hey Chris, Branson's a nice area, my in-laws own a resort on table rock lake called Artilla Cove Resort so we get free room and board. We also get into the shows cheap!

Haven't had a chance to check on the car recently, I was sucked into the big exercise a while back and the day after it ended I flew out. I am planning on sending Christoph an email in the next day or so.

OK, I'M HERE!! I'm staying at my uncles place off of nine eagles road. Has anyone come up with a place to meet up? I think the consensus is a Sunday lunch but no one recommended anyplace yet.

Yep, I have a rental all week. I know most of the Hooters are down near the water or center of town but can get to any of them, just need to know which one if anyone has preferences.

Had a great time on Sunday, maybe if I get stationed here in the future we can have more get togethers. Steve Gaglione wants me to check on some parts for him when I get back to Germany so I'll be sending him an email in a bit to find out exactly what he wants me to get from Christoph.

Currently in Orlando, sitting in the hotel room...nap time for the 2 year old, we'll be going back to the magic kingdom once she has a real good nap!

Hope too see everyone again in the future!

Well, I am back in Deutschland. Got in Friday morning, long flight! I hate US airlines, the fleets are old and services crappy. The only redeeming factor of this flight was we got a very good crew this time. Most of my Northwest flights don't improve until I transfer to KLM in Amsterdam. I think I'll start looking into how much it costs to fly British Air, I hear they have excellent service.

Rianna didn't scream for 5 hours like the first time we came over but she didn't want to settle so neither of us got much sleep. Slept in this morning so didn't make it over to Boxter Motor to see the status of my car, will have to call Christoph on Monday.

Steve G. will check with Christoph on your lenses as well on Monday and let you know what I find out.

In two weeks I am off again to Obergammerau which is southeast Germany near the Austrian border. I am attending the NATO Officer Orientation course so I get to see how NATO operates. Should be interesting. I am hoping that I have the car running before then. It was great seeing you guys, anytime you need a place to stay in Germany give me a holler, I have an extra room.
