914World.com _ 914World Garage _ rusty British 75

Hi Guys,

after a few years off road I am putting back my 914 where it should be on the left hand sidfe of the road. Lots of rot has appeared since I stopped using it so it's gonna be expensive.

In my box of bits I found this, is it common or is it worth anything?

The molding is probably the piece that goes between the deck lid grill and the smooth part...its a little piece of rubber.

That is an accessory part, but not part of the official factory system. It was a dealer/distributor part instead. The ZPW part # is proof of that.
It is a part that I am not familiar with, and should be considered rather rare & unusual. I'd need to see a bit more of it to determine where it fits. Perhaps someone has a catalog of these parts.

Looks like a dress up part for the fresh air intake grille in the cowl. Wonder how the VOA part made it across the pond.

I know exactly where it fits and I would love that part.... Seriously, for my show car.

PM if you want to sell it.

Let the bidding begin. Seriously. An uncommon item for sure.
Try taking the photos without flash and submit it to our Parts Vault.
