We drove from Loumeroun to Geneve using the French toll road system. It is a very good road but the tolls were in the $60 to $70 range for about 300 miles.

In France the blanket speed limit is 130 KPH when it is dry out. Should be around 80 to 85 MPH.

The roads aren't patrolled by cops too much so it is easy to go faster but the fines when they catch you are pretty high and they make you pay on the spot. If you don't have the cash they will take you to an ATM. Don't ask how I know that.

Watch out for cameras as well. What was that flash. Next a letter from the authorities saying thanks here is the fine for 220 KPH
