Toni, the mastermind of the bavarian 914 Friends, organizes a little 914 meeting with BBQ every summer. Yesterday it took place. It's about 2.5 hrs from my place, in the Munich area.
As usual it was a really nice event, about 15 teeners showed up this time. Together with drivers of some other cars there were maybe 50 people, heaving a good time on a really wonderful day.
here's an overview of the cars at about 5pm

the problem is, that I don't know how he did it ... he only told me that he had to open the lights and that it was a lot of work

Thanks for posting the pics, I really enjoy your Europe-based photos. The 914 in its' most natural suurondings, I think. BTW, is that a NATO/MilSpec Boxster just to the port side of the white 914?

Doesn't this guy know that most nations no longer use that pattern? Besides, waxing it would defeat the purpose of staying hidden!
Definitely not a paint scheme I would have used.

I don't see a Boxter It must be hidden
