Whenever you are about to post something in anger, recite this out loud before you start typing.
Grant me the serenity to ignore the trolls,
the courage to debate with honest opponents,
and the wisdom to know the difference.

Ok, who insulted Clay's stature again?
Quit pickin' on the miniscule Texan.
Ya know ... iffin' they gave Texas an enema it would shrink to less than the size of Rhode Island. That would be a good thing as it would improve their constipated attitudes.

No, He is not going to get paid. He didn't finish the fence yet. It was supposed to go ALL the way AROUND Texas to keep out the Yankees and Californians.....

The fence should only allow trucks from Ford and GM into the state for sale...this way we can consolidate all the overpriced gas hogs into a state that can produce enough oil to support them.

Yeah, my family back in WF gives me a hard time for walking through those gates somewhere around Randlett where the turnpike starts... Admittedly The Cult up here (some people say they come from OU there in Norman) has been pretty friendly with the banter and I haven't disappeared yet. Always feel safer in a crowd of OSU fellows... Dont forget that everyone and anyone can and does carry a loaded firearm...cause you never know when you will need a loaded firearm in Texas...especially since everyone else has one.
the other benefit is that the state hat and boots will make you appear taller.

I preffer Seattle. Best city I've ever been to.
Posted by: r_towle Jul 28 2008, 12:37 PM
Castle law is "every mans home is his castle" you can therefore shoot first and ask questions later.
It is just a way to justisfy actually carrying the gun in the first place...gotta have a law that allows you to use it once in a while.
No signs needed, just a trespasser...

I'll give you that one ... the graft and greed of the police and politicians generate enough2. Castle Law
Law of the Old West ... shoot anything, anytime, which the police have been doing without the law for many years3. Lower cost of living.
No one really wants to live in a hot and humid pit4. Not as Crowded as California.
B.U.L.L.S.H.I.T.5. Cheaper gasoline.
Yeh, no environmental idiots to cause several formulations and a price increase6. Less Crazy People.
Don't know what you're smokin'7. Real Seasons.
Hot and Humid from Feb to Nov and then cold Dec/Jan8. No Earthquakes.
Tornados, Thunderstorms, Hurricanes, and Texans are the most dangerous9. People are friendly.

I'll have to admit that most of the women that I have met from Texas thought they were hot shit but in all reality they were just another chick that went home alone Not too sure about people being more friendlydown there.
Oh, why does it appear that most of the guys that are from there that move up here worship football? I never understood that.

I know I will hear from SLITS on this one, but...
Colorado also has that law, you can shoot anyone in your house or on your property as long as you were in fear for the lives of you or your family. Also, your car is an extension of your house.
It honestly gives me a peace of mind.
