Do I need to swing by and take a look at this one?

Stunningly good, it is.
God damn that top was a bitch, one of a kind cause we are never doing that again haha, like 20+ hours into three tries, three paint colors, deatailed graphic, with clear buffed FLAT, jesus haha. Cant wait to see it back at the shop for paint, now you got no distractions since the gt is done so git on it, well maybe wait till the speedster is gone so you can get all of isaacs love
sick jeff!
I think the only person who could catch him in his GT is Andy. I could hear that motor talk to me from a half mile away. It is truly a car to be seen and loved. I can't wait until this package is together. twin plug 3.0? oh, momma!
i can never keep the car list straight. now the ginther surfaces...you've been holding out on me. what will you do with all your time and money when the cars are done?
k
I heard from a local shop owner there was a twin plug 2.8 that put out just over 300hp built by Jeff. Makes me wonder what he can with with a 3.0 twin plug?
How much you got
Most likely MFI instead of Webers .... add more $$$$.
"15 specially prepared RSR's were ordered by Penske, 12 racers and three practice cars. Porsche fitted each one with a unique Typ 911/74 motor, displacement of which was the familiar 2993cc. With 316bhp on tap at 8000rpm, the IROC 911's were just 14bhp shy of the full-house RSR's"
If you want to play, you gotta pay!
Eddie
Listening to a twin plug motor run...priceless.
for more pictures!
Having this one resprayed first , ADD and a sore back

OG double adjustable Koni's dated 9/70 for the GT and the pair for the Ginther GT
monoball ends , and double adjustable, best thing 1.3 inches shorter and cheaper.
ugly yellow respray needs rework.
I made some top mounts to weld in.

3.0 core 2500
twin plug conversion and rebuild heads 2500
new pistons and cylinders 3000
case work 1000
new stud hardware 600
gasket kit 300
rebuild crank 500
if your going to really rev then carrillos 3000
or keep it under 7K with arp bolts and rebuilt rods 500
cams 500
I am sure I am leaving something out but grand total:
so with carrillos 11.5K without 8900
then throw in carbs for another couple grand and there you are...

keep adding...
you don't build a reving motor and just rebuild the heads.
I think my 2.0 heads were around 6K alone due to porting and tweeks.
(titanium retainers, small stem valves, smaller racing spark plugs, new seats, custom springs)
not to mention the ignition system for twin plug....
alot closer to 20K with labor than you would think.
Brant not my estimate, Thanks for the real world costing though.
Myself I have everything and do my machine work, Carilllos and Pauters, new JE's and just got 3.0rsr Mahles NOS from Ralph . turbo oil pump, 6bolt aluminum case/9bolt alum case
MFI ,46's Twin plug dizzy's, clewett crank fire.bunch of cams, tilton clutch flywheel,
I more interested in my Ginther theme.
