I'm in Santa Clara visiting a client for the week. I should be available Tuesday and Thursday night for beverages. I'm at the Marriott and have no clue how to get anywhere except the airport. So hey lets have a beer night!!! drunk.gif Dave D. haven't seen you since the East coast ramble two years ago. Lets do it!!

Hey, dude!! I'd love to, but I'm busy all week! sad.gif Got company tonight and Thursday night and can't get out of any of that. Wednesday is iffy (got some maintenance on the "other car" to do) and I'm driving to L.A. Friday morning. Sounds like the only day I have near free is one you've got busy...

If you can scare up time during the day, head up 101 N to Woodside Road in Redwood City, then turn left on Bay, then right on Sweeny and park. The walk right on Spring and check out High Performance House. Bigger 'n' better than AA, from what I hear.

http://www.mapquest.com/maps/map.adp?country=US&countryid=250&addtohistory=&address=2431+spring+street&city=&state=&zipcode=94063&submit=Get+Map

Hopefully someone will be good enough to help set up a dinner with you? It woulda been nice to have you show yesterday at the Tied House gathering...

(You can't turn left from Woodside onto Spring.)

Things aren't going as smoothly as I had hoped with my client headbang.gif (Silicon Valley Bank) we trying to resolve one remaining issue that looks to keep me tied up until after about 8PM this evening. No jazz for tonight.

I have to:

1) work
2) go to the gym (weight savings :-) )
3) start working on getting the EDIS module working.
4) try and chill my ass out.
5) attempt to organize the house a bit
6) eat.

Not necessarily in that order.

PM me if anyone needs directions!

So far it looks like:

Brad smash.gif
Andy mueba.gif
Me (Jeff) givemebeer.gif

There is plenty more room!!

Maybe I will stop by if I feel like dealing with the traffic. It will take me a while to get over there.

Andy and Jeff (jkeyzer) showed up and we got a lot accomplished! Jeff put in the replacement drivers side window mechanism while Andy and I removed the trailing arms and the oil return tubes. We all drank a few and Andy drove away (starter installed) at 12:15! It started with the keY!!!!

Thanks to all who came by tonight! It is always better with friends!

Awww crap - you have to lay an IMI Starter flat to clear the trunk.

That means I got issues coming. Dammit.

the mounting plate on mine had 2 settings.
the default wouldn't clear the trunk floor so i had to rotate the plate and then it fit perfectly ...

Andy

Posted by: fiid Feb 6 2004, 03:07 AM

I need mine to be in the stock place so it clears the turbo.

Which means the turbo isn't going to clear.

Joy, light and happiness.

just use a BFH ( smash.gif ) and mold the trunk floor to your needs.
it "almost" clears in the stock configuration ...

I'm thinking about cutting some of the trunk floor out and making a fibreglass replacement - then I can mould it around what I got.

It would be fun to build a venturi (??) plate for under the car too.....
D-D-D-Downforce. I think they have those on the radicals. Anyone know how that shit works?

Yes. My priorities are way out of whack.

I actually spend the evening assembling the new Megasquirt for the subaru engine. I have finished the clock, input stages, and serial port so far.

MS rocks because you can test it every 15 or so components you solder in....

My next problem to address though is how to get the ford edit wheel mounted to the subaru harmonic balancer.

Anyone got a lathe?
