914World.com _ 914World Garage _ How to get bearing off of input shaft.

Posted by: fiid Oct 6 2008, 12:01 PM

Hey,

So - I'm trying to get a bearing off the input shaft of the 901.

It's the one that sits behind that nut on the clutch end of the input shaft. I've removed the nut, but I can't get the bearing to break loose and I'm trying to not damage it.

Any suggestions?

I just raise the whole shaft and let it fall laugh.gif on a piece of wood a few times till all the little bits scatter to the four corners of the room... rolleyes.gif
