914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Heater Box Cable Connector

Posted by: vesnyder Oct 18 2008, 09:55 PM

I misplaced the special connector that holds the heater cable into the heater box that controls the heat. Is this a normal connector that I can find elsewhere? Let me know if you know what I am talking about and if not I will post a pic.

Thanks

You should be able to go to most any "discount Import Auto Parts" store that sells VW stuff & pick that up. I always bought most everything from them.

If you are talking about the piece that connects the cable to the pivot, you can get them at a local auto parts. Look in the miscellaneous parts section for a pack of these. They look like a small rod with a hole drilled through them and a screw inserted. They have a small hole drilled cross wise though them for the cable. I had to open up the cross drilled hole a little. JoeO
