Okay went out to crank up my 1.7 today, and I wont crank, everyonce in a while it'll hit for justa second and die asap It was running perfect the other day like two or three days ago and im in asheville NC and it got down to like 30F last night and I'm wondering if the are any little things that could make it no crank cause its cold?
On my old 1.7 something happened to relay board and when it got cold I'd have to heat it up with a heater then in like 5 mins. It would crank got a different board and it cranked right up. I dont think this is the problem this time
Any ideas would help
thanks, andrew
Check the easy stuff like the ground strap and clean up your battery connections.
Test your battery to see if its full of water...and holds a full charge.
Grounds need to be cleaned yearly.
Battery posts need to be cleaned every three months or so.

I read the number once. Can't remember, except that it was amazing. When it gets cold, batteries lose much of their potency.
