It is gorgeous. This would kick more ass than a turbocharged ass kicking machine.

I just don't have the fiberglass skills to make it. Besides - I am going to go for a napping look (like a sleeper, but with perhaps a few minor visual clues.).

It does look neat. I think it's cool how they kept the "bumper top" element in the design.

It's funny. I'm a serious cuda/challenger fan -- drove a deamon in my youth -- outside of chevy it's my big thing -- but the styling exercise at MT missed all the important cues. And on the 914 exercise, they hit most of the big ones. Wonder what it is.... oh.. yeh... I voted enough times to get bored.... you should too!

The narrow fender pods and the mention of targa were in line but I didn't see anything else in the drawing that said "914". A forced perspective and large wheels are the designers staple. The styling of the original 914 is very product oriented, less form more function. There are alot of nice forms on the 914 but proportion and packaging is the main design emphasis. The MT concept sketches don't show the proportion. It did the job and got alot of 914 enthusiasts excited with the idea. Who knows, retro design is IN...
