You guys mind if I ask what kind of work transpired the aforementioned rack? I'm looking at mine and thinking about a rebuild. Not that it needs it, but while I'm in there...

Well, that would be a reasonable place to look for a new "rack".

Though chances are good that any one you'd find there would be plastic...

no work done on the rack
brad has a nearly new {used} rack to replace the one currently in my car
good luck finding someone to work on yours due to liability concerns

I give up. I'll understand if you want to also. Once my day starts.. its all over. I have NO time to breath during the day between physical Porsche work and phone calls. I barely stop for lunch (I'm actually still at the shop right now)

I was short a guy today.. call tomorrow and ask for me. Tell whomever answers that I TOLD you to call. Otherwise you will be shuffled away from talking to me until I can call you back.
