There is something special about this car - if you see it, it just feels right. The rare color, the raw fan shroud, the wheels, and the fricken bark from the sport muffler makes this car come across more like an old factory prototype - or something built by Abarth.
I am glad it is for sale - Greg doesn't deserve it........ poke.gif bootyshake.gif

Do you think I might be more deserving of some obnoxious looking car that is better shaken and not stirred? shades.gif

is this the car that SLITS installed the HE's on?

Posted by: Gint Jan 9 2009, 11:16 PM

It could be a different car that you're referring to (I doubt it though), but Slits installed HE's on this car.

For less than $400 you could ceramic coat the headers and heat exchangers and make the undercarriage of this car really pop.

Cool. If I keep it, I may do that smile.gif

Drove the car into the office today.
With Global warming on the rise (60+ in Denver today), I figure to drive this car 11 months out of the year, so I am going to keep it now.

Could an admin please move this to the garage (I took out FS info). I will update this thread after I get the car painted. Thanks wink.gif

are you going to change the color ? It is even sunny in seattle, yippee

I really like those wheels. You said they were 911, but I don't recall ever seeing them on another Porsche. Brand?

Posted by: echocanyons Jan 18 2009, 10:12 PM

Are those 911 spares?
i understand they are ultralightweight, I have seen them used on some outlaw 356's

On second look maybe not spares, hey do look really nice though.

They are 911 spares. I wish I could take credit for creating them, but the PO did all the work (locating/powder coating). They are staggered, so I have 16's in rear and 15's in front. The center caps were custom made. I don't know anything about how much they weigh. I haven't had to take the wheels off yet biggrin.gif

I'd kind of like to put on some Fuchs, but most people I talk to like these. They kind of have a gas burner look to them.
