Can't seem to find any vendors that sell the M10 Schnorr locking washers.
Anyone?

Thanks,
Andys

I think I have a ton of them from when I re-did my axles... Or is that 8mm?

For the CV joint bolts? If so, the usual 914 parts vendors should have them. Porsche parts dept, VW parts house, fastener suppliers (Fastenal, Spaenaur, etc.).

999 523 103 01. I buy 'em at the dealer. My guess is everyone else does, too, and you pay their mark-up. The part number for the 8mm version is 999 523 102 02. The Cap'n

Andy, how many 10's do you need?

PM me your address. I just got a bunch for my 911 CV's.

You'll owe me a beer.gif

Eric,

You have mail.

I checked McMaster first, but couldn't locate them under "lock washers." Didn't realize they are listed under "Bellville." $11.00/100; it's not the eleven bucks, but rather what to do with 84 left overs?

Beer? Done-deal! Thanks Eric!

You could use up six more under the allen bolts for the tops of the front struts. smile.gif
Even though they are listed as belville washer, the package was printed schnorr washers.

I'm pretty sure they're M8. I just ordered a bag of 100 from McMaster the other day so I hope I'm right. biggrin.gif

914 = M8
911 = M10

Andy; are you sure you need M10? I have both.

Eric,

Yes, absolutely sure. M10 for LATE ('89) Carrera CV's/axles.

Thanks,

Andys

I got mine from HPH years ago, are they still around?

Posted by: jimtab Jan 23 2009, 03:23 AM

Yes they are, and if you're in SF, I carry them in the hardware store I work at, Center Hardware.
