So this is it. We are not doing Pay-pal so your going to have use The Snail Mail and copy the Offical Registration Form and give it to the trusted hands of the disgruntailed Postal Officals. Encolse a check for the correct amount and we will figure the rest out. Please bare with us, as we are nudists. Oh, ah, thats another thread.

No special deals for the motels?
I guess the its starting to look like my 914 might run by then so I might make it is not an option?
I am in plus one guest (Todd Enlund) Just sent off my check with the snail
I hope you all enjoy this.
I'm coming just for the
everything else is the icing on the cake
i might have the 914 and rsx there
edit*, it wont be a participant, just might be easier to have my dad meet me with the 914, and I drive down from slo
What's a 914 'perv'? Or do I not want to know? Or do I already know a lot of 'em? Am I one? I must be 'cause that's how I voted.
I'll be there with the red car.
I'll be there too; going to drop off the registration form and check this saturday--
Jim
Attached image(s)
I'm In
actually, mark or someone driving through slo, think I could hitch a ride with you, that way I can meet up with my dad (since the teener is in his garage) and not have 2 cars there?
Thanks,
-Ben
I'll be there with son in tow; "checks in the mail" ;o)
With The Committee and whats been voted we are 1/3 of the way to our goal of 100. All of this and we haven't been at it for a week yet.
I may have to bow out Joe. New puppy and the oldest is graduating from CSU on the 15th.
Thats O.K. Mike, just send Shar. She is more fun than you anyway.
Sorry Joe, I don't think we will be able to make it this year.
I'll be there
Lisa
I can't vote as of yet. It really just depends on what happens sales wise for me. I may get to drive my car down if I make a few nice sales , I may fly down for a day , or I may end up missing it
JOn, you should come... at 90 something dollars for the event, its a amazing deal
check will be in the mail this week.
btw, what all is covered with the 90ish dollars+30ish for two people?
Yeah Mike I understand but I'm anyway.
Ben: It's the entire event for 2. You and the person your bring get to do everything that everyone else does. 8 meals instad of 4.
sweet... well check I believe is in the mail...
now I need to find tires for streets of Willow
btw... the streets of willow is included in the fee right?
full fare and food fare? I didnt see that on the registration form?
is the 91 a full fare, and 35 or so just the food fare?
thanks
right on the form it says additional guest 35$ to cover food
$91.4_(0,4,6) is full fare, food , t shirt, track at the streets, + extra's
$35 is to cover food ( fri night, Saturday afternoon, Sunday evening and Monday at "Streets" ) 4 meals
Back to the top with this. 46 people have down loaded the registration form in less than a week. Thats about half way to my goal.
Hello Joe! sooo 91.46 covers all events, 4 meals" one per day?", track day and AX...And no speciel deals on hotels...both hotels close to everything? and witch one is headquarters ..i didnt see an address to send the registration to...P.S i will share a room with someone to help cut cost so if you know of anyone set me up
Thanks
Mike Crandall
Excuse me Mike, the $91.46 covers you for 4 meals, they are.
The "Q" at the Meet and Greet Friday night,
the "Q" on the ride Saturday afternoon,
The Awards Ceremonie dinner
and lunch at The Streets of Willow.
The Streets of Willow is also inclued but if you want to do an A/X that is also on the same weekend at El Toro, you'll have to sing up and pay the PCA OCR. Sunday is our travle day and you will have time to do their A/X and get to the Awards Ceremonie Dinner by 7:30.
The rate that we have been quoted at The Double Tree Inn in Irvine is $89 per night. Not a great rate but the nicest hotel that we have stayed at for a 914 event.
The rate that we have been quoted at The Inn of Lancaster is $79 per night and that is where we stayed in 2005. Thats the best rates we have been able to get at this time. Those are the Headquarters that we will be using. The Inn of Lancaster is where Tech for The Streets of Willow will be held.
Team NARP's Headquarters address is at the bottom of the registration form.
I hope this clears up and questions about the A/X as it is not part of The West Cost Ramble. It is a PCA event.
Got it...... Thanks Joe!!!............so too put it out there again I`m willing to share accomadations at both places ....we can help each other save a good chunk of change
I am there - will send check on monday. This should be a fun event.
It will be good to finaly meet you Trever.
The score as it stands tonight 2/28
31 people on the poll say they are going to be here.
51 people have downloaded the registration form.
9 people have paid.
I think we are doing rather well for the end of the first week.
The event has $784.64 in the bank.
Oh Yeah.
Check the lead post to see who we have recieved money from.
56 downloads here and 24 on NARP. Does that mean 80 or 56?
Joe - I downloaded an entry form from NARP last week, and I just voted here yesterday ...
... and a check to follow promptly
I'm coming with a friend
I will also be coming. I was hoping to bring my Dad again, but my Mom is not in very good shape and he doesn't want to leave her alone. We went to the last one together and met Howard and the gang. We had a blast!! We only showed up for the track event and Howard was nice enough to save my award, tshirt, etc, for me not knowing for sure that I was going to show up. What an amazing Man loved by all. He will definetly never be forgotten.
I will get my form sent out tomorrow.
Is there an overview of the activities (times, dates, locations, etc...)? The wcr09.com site doesn't seem to work...
Thanks!
-Aaron
Arron I bumped the other thread for you. I think it will answer your questions.
Joe
I must have missed it but, how do we register 2 drivers for the track day.
Thanks
Dave
I asked the commeittee Dave we should have an answer tomorrow.
Bump for Steve
We need another
Sorry to bug you guys again about 2 drivers. I think I'll register him separately but, in my car. I'm sure there are some track fees buried in there and he is 19 so, he'll eat more than his share of food.
Dave
flyin' into los angleez, bringin' in a couple of keys, don't touch my bag if you please... i'll need somebody to haul my raffle donation down. i don't want to pay the extra airline fee for the brad-penn oil change kit.
Woo Hoo! Registration sent. Are we there yet?????
Manufacturers, Suppliers, Vendors and Members alike ...
... if you're wanting to donate door or raffle prize items for this event, please send me a quick PM with a description the item(s) and your contact info, etc., so's I can update the donation list accordingly
You will be provided an address where to send the item(s) if you're shipping the item(s), or not planning to attend the event in person.
Thanks ...
I'm coming down and I may even have my teener with me...all of a sudden my normally bullitproof car is giving me fits....now it's got a saggy ass....but only on one side....everyone said trailing arm bushings but they don't seem to be "wiggly" when I shake them....what else could it be???? Making me even crazier than usual.
Thanks Waide.....see you at WCR. I am a trim 230....hope I can hold at that or drop down but ....you know how it goes..... Worst thing is ....it IS on the driver side.....
I see the Word doc says:
> Registration due by April 15th 2009
Is there still space available for the track day? If so, I'll send a check tomorrow (2 cars and 2 drivers)... ?
-Steve
Steve, the answer to your question is YES
But Steve we will need 2 registrations please.
Dumb question - if two cars and two drivers I assume there will me two charges for the track day. If there are one car and two drivers, will there be an additional fee?
Well,I guess Suzi will be there . I'll be there too, if anyone
cares
Gotta sort out the details, and keep her running.
Joe, thanks for the personal invite!
Jeff
Wouldn't be the same without Suzie
Reg & check going out in today's mail.
Just a teaser. This is the Best of Show Trophie in the rough.
The car is my entry into the R/C Challenge
Niiiiice!
Lisa
Is Doubletree, the base? Working on my new? 914, If it's not done in time, then 86 911 will have to do. Just downloaded registration, should finalize in about a week. looking forward to seeing all those sexy cars soon. last year in Seattle was Unfortunately, kermitt is gone, but working with two cars to make one. Bye for now,
Every time I add a name it puts a smile on my face. So much talent, so many personalities.
Only 2 months away now.
Woo Hoo!
-Rob
Almost 120 people have downloaded the registration form as today (106 here and 13 on NARP). We still have a month and a half of time left for registration. I hope we see that many people or more at the Ramble.
Joe, are there 2 doubletree hotels in Irvine? I called tonight for reservations and the AAA best rate was 197.99 per night....what do you think happened to 89.00? Is this the big boy and there is another hotel? This one is at 90 Pacifica avenue....?????
I've called 3 times...what is the address of the one you booked at...is it on Pacifica ave? I have a hunch that there may be 2 hotels....100.00 difference is a little extreme....or give me the name you talked to.....
Sorry Jim you are talking to the correct hotel. I don't have time this week to strighten this out. The price that quoted Rick is an on line price that anyone can get. We had talked to them about a block of 40 room and only got a price of 89. They have not been very cooperative. It is a very nice hotel and in a great location for us.
189.00 vs 89.00 Will be a deal breaker for me..Lets hope it the lower price ..or maybe they can throw in a few hookers ....lmao ...just kid`n
Is there a schedule of events for the weekend?
Where?
Thanks in advance.
This is where I booked my room. The addy and phone number match the what's listed on the registration form. I've got my daughter with me so I booked a package that included breakfast $119 an night. (She needs breakfast or it can be a tough morning for everyone around). I saw $98 a night for 2 queens.
http://doubletree1.hilton.com/en_US/dt/hotel/ONAISDT-Doubletree-Hotel-Irvine-Spectrum-California/index.do
Yes, I called the number on the registration form. They looked and looked for a 914 world, WCR 914 club, porsche anything. The person I spoke with stated if there is a discount that he should have offered they will be able to offer it even when checking in.
Call the number on the registration form.
See ya there!
OK, went on line last night and booked at 98. so all is well, for some reason calling their "people" got me a HUGE quote...do it onling....ALL IS WELL>>>>>>>
Cool ... looking at the ariel shot of the hotel, it appears there are 3 places where we can project pix from a video projector on a blank wall and have a drive-in movie
$7.00 bucks a nite to park. ...seems silly that you have to pay for parking .are we going to have a roped off section for 914`s only ..and do i have to pay double for truck and trailer
Try $30 a night at the Edgewater in Seattle. The door man had his hand out too. I felt a major craving for wine and cheese. Fortunately, my wife had packed a couple of bottles of beer so, I was saved. I'll NEVER stay there again. $7.00 doesn't seem too bad.
Dave
Is there going to be a parking fee charged to people attending the meet/greet ?
don't send your registration and money next week. SEND IT OUT IN TOMORROW'S MAIL. AS YOU READ, MAKE OUT THE CHECK, ADDRESS THE ENVELOPE AND PUT ON A STAMP, AND IT WILL BE READY TO MAIL. too simple huh? or wait and wait and put the planners in a bind when they have to go into their own pockets to get things going.
My trip is all planned. All the reservations are made. I just need some miles on the car. I'm still working out the bugs.
Thanks Kevin.
I can't wait to see you again Dave.
Signed, sealed and going out for delivery today Joe. Giddyup!
for Rick and Sandy and the Iverson brothers.
Mr Sharp? how far are the two hotels apart ...would it be better to stay at one or Double tree the 15 -16 and then move to the lancaster place the 17-18..Thanks
Mike
The hotels are about 120 miles apart. Here that could an easy 4 hour drive or 2 depending upon traffic.
got it Joe Thanks ...
Tacoma to Irvine 1146.31
Irvine to lancaster 109.88
Lancaster to tacoma 1088.76
total 2344.95......
All hotels booked & ready . Just keeping my fingers crossed no catastrophies come between now & then. . It's going to be a long 7 weeks
I'm nearing the end of the "see if I can get off work" phase and getting into the actual planning phase. Looks like I will be there, as I said at Rt66. Looking forward to it!
- Nelson
Have YOU sent your registration yet???
Good news! I found out today that I have vacation from the 11th-20th!!! So I will be able to visit the SoCal folks for a bit!
What is the entry fee for two adults and two kids that only wish they had a 914 to bring to the event? We will be riding in the Sequoia...a/c....ahhhh!
I'll be hanging around a bit or going back the long way around (thru Az, Nm, and Ut/nev) or just staying in socal and visiting friends and relatives...haven't finalized plans but I'm free until the 22nd....can hardly wait....
The registration form has been down loaded about 175 times. It would be nice to get at least about 2/3rds of them back.
Thanks Mike, I needed that...
Ok, I'm sending my entry in today. I'll be at Cal Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, but plan on running the Streets Of Willow with you guys on Monday (if I don't break anything). Hope you guys don't mind a 911 out there:) I'm looking forward to it!
Ira
Actually, at a count of 175, 2/3 would only equate to 116.6 entries, whereas, 3/2 would equate to 262.5 entries.
You had the right idea Joe
Thanks Ira, It's nice to have you and your 911 on board.
Wow! Best rate for the Double Tree I am finding on line is $170 a night...and needing six nights adds up to... $1020.00 ....ummmm yeah, prolly can't justify that.
Joe, can you I've got my entry form to give you, I keep getting caught up in all kinds of stuff at work.
Joe,
I dropped my registration in the mail today. Reservations made for Irvine (Friday and Saturday) and Lancaster Sunday...$99 and $89 a night respectively. Internet gets you the $99 rate in Irvine and must call for Lancaster (old school).
Done deal, reservations made.... registration in the mail tomorrow morning!
...and we are going to Disneyland! ( Val ---> <--- Eric )
for Herschell, Ira, John and Jon
The Registration has been downloaded about 200 times now.
Val's and my registration went into the mail this morning. Hopefully it will actually arrive....(can't trust those postal workers).
Looking forward to it! We actually got our rate at the Double Tree down to $98 a night. (for some reason they charge more if you want to stay on a weekday.)
We plan on arriving Monday the 11th and staying in Anaheim for a couple nights for Disneyland, then moving down the highway a bit on Friday to the Double Tree. We will come up and watch at Streets, then go spend Monday night in Vegas. We will have our daughters with us, so our partying will be kept to a minimum...but I am sure we will enjoy!!
Looking forward to seeing the friends we have met again, and meeting those friends we have not!
for Mark
for Bob but Bob doesn't go on line.
Registration sent in Thursday.
Hotel reservations made!
Reservations made!
I have just been informed that Suzan and Greg Dranow (Howards offsprings) will be at the WCR....
That's great news ...
For Ed and Jen Morrow, gosh this is nice, Ken, who had our Logo done, Eric and Val form Co. This is going to be one heck of a party. And Andy, whom I'm hoping will help us out at the track.
Just made my hotel reservations. Are there any updates about the WCR? Do we have an updated list of who's coming? BBQ location? Joes house?
The updated list for attendees is on page 1. Looking forward to seeing you Elliot!
For Linda Horne, CSG and one of the Principals of Team NARP.
I'm going to get my registration in the mail tonight to you Joe.
-Tony
Thanks Tony.
I failed to get it out. Realized I didn't have stamps or envelope. Will take care of that today, but still good for a bump on the thread
Um ... those who's payments have bean received are on the updated list ... the rest are still just window shoppers
Guess I'd better get mine in the mail, huh?
Hi Joe,
I'm sorry the General & I can't make the Ramble this year.
I appreciate what kind of work goes into making this event a success,
I know we will be missing a blast!
Curt
I'm sorry to hear that Curt.
Come on people!!! Send in the form. Come to the WCR. (Don't make me come to your house).
Just put the form in the mailbox. Gonna be a fun week, Disney for three days, and 914's for three more! WooHoo!
Jim
check is in the mail

(btw, is there going to be a group discount?)
I mean the check arrived
OK, I just made reservations (they still have rooms)
the lancaster inn has the discount, the other one couldnt find a discount
Okay, registraton and moeny is in the mail system
Hotels booked ..money sent ....Polish up that trophy Mr.Sharp I`ll pick it up next month
I really just wanted to vote, but if I had known it was a nudest event, well, I would have made arrangements...
There mite be some skin ..in that warm weather
For Lisa Kaplan (our Birthday Fairy), Jim Knowlton and Suzie's owner Jeff Duncan. This is going to be some PARTY!!!!!
We have a pair of WCR registrations paid for that we won't be using, who should we give them out to? Anybody got any ideas?
Mr Sharp ...do we need track cert. to run at Willows
Hey Mark, I think you guys should bring this up to the fourm.
I would love to come ..it has been a couple of years since i have been to a big get-togather...
but with a new baby girl coming home from the hospital soon, I think i should stay home...damn it
even though Sher says i should go
Dianne & and I are paid in full
What's up with the rest of you boys & girls? ... get your entry forms sent in THIS WEEK ...
Hey Joe.... is that Herschel Riley from Calimesa, CA?
The registration date has technically expired. Are you still accepting registrations?
ABSOLUTELY ...
... but hurry up - times a wastin'
Sorry Mike, no track cert. This is driver training for those who have never been on a track. Nothing more than autocross inspections.
Oh and yes it is Ben.
Check is in the mail...
In order to save money (and my marriage) I will be driving back and forth from the local events and then staying the night Sunday night in Lancaster for the track day.
If any one would like to split a room please let me know ASAP.
Joe
I know I missed it somewhere but could you direct me to the thread that has the daily shedule of events? I just can't swing the whole event but may be able to pop in for a day.
TIA
Allen
So it's not top late to send in Reg? I'll send mine immediatly
send it folks
Can't wait Mr. C
Please fix the spelling of my name
Michael.R.Crandall...........................i dont know how you got carndull
Allan and Tom, We start off the event at The Double Tree Inn in Irvine with a meet and greet Friday night.
Saturday morning Bright and early some of us will go off to Cars and Coffee.
Then about 9:15 we go for a ride to a location for a
After we return to the hotel we have the 914 R/C/ Car Challenge.
Saturday evening your free to do what you like.
Sunday morning there is a drive to The Inn of Lancaster for Tech, Show and Shine and The Awards Cerrmony.
Monday we go to Willow Springs for The Streets of Willow.
I hope this helps but I was sure I posted it some where and I can't find it either.
Mr Sharp is it ok to bring parts that we wanna try to sell and or give away?
I think it will be O.K. The hotel in Irvine didn't want us to have a swap-meet.
Joe, was there a group rate for the hotel in Irvine?
No, no group rate. Expect $98 a day for the three days. If you cut into Wednesday or Thursday, expect a higher rate.
For Aaron.
Can I give an acceptance speech?
PS - Has anyone used the Buttonwillow Raceway up in Kern County (near Bakersfield - sorta) for any racing, rallies, AX, etc.?
If so, I was just wondering how the racers view it, because I was working on a project proposal near it on I-5, and we saw it as a potential plus for what we planned - e.g.: a decent hotel/motel, restaurant, fuel & C-store, etc. & maybe even some rental shop space for racers there & at the NASCAR track to the south (which is now also stopped!). Just wunderin' about users' opinions of it & that general I-5 area??
FYI - the room rates at the Double Tree have been reduced
http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=94974
I'm only a second year, so I still have some time.... But if the economy doesnt improve I might try to double major in music or something .... or USC or Tulane architecture later on
Just over 2 weeks left! Yes
Still looking to split a room with someone in Lancaster. PM if you have a spare bed!
Got a room... Thanks Ernie!
Just booked my room in Lancaster
Still debating on the Irvine rooms as I live 25 min. away
But I'll be there
Lisa
Make sure you girls get your cars polished up ...
'Best Female Owned 914' gets to take these this home
(Fake mammary material will be flesh-toned before the given to the recipient)
Two Weeks!
Only 1 Friday between now and then.
Oh yeah! Only 2 weekends left to work on my car. Better get on it quick
I can't make it for the whole weekend (and my car will likely still be on jackstands), but I'd still like to stop by and see all the cars and meet some fellow 914 enthusiasts. Is there a schedule published somewhere?
12 days!
This has been a problem for me from the begining. It is not my purpose to stop party crashing. I would like to have as many people stop by as possible but this party belongs to those that have paid the registration fees. Our schedule will be given out at registration, at the hotel in Irvine. Come to the Meet and Greet on Friday night and talk to us. I'm sure you will find us very accommodating. As far the exact time of each part of the event goes, who the Fuch knows, these are 914's and we can never tell when we will arrive.
Joe,
Is there a registration "time". I'm local so I won't be staying at the Irvine Hotel, but would still like to get the schedule.
-Aaron
I live 5 minutes from Irvine and would like to roll over to the Friday night Meet & Greet in my "just painted, freshly re-upholstered" '74 2.0 to say Hi and see some other 914s. ...But what time?
I'm not planning to go to all of the scheduled events, but I will be at Cars-n-Coffee on Saturday morning... I'm usually out there most Saturdays. This will be the first time I bring the 914 out though... it's been in a state of restoration for about a year and a half.
So what time Friday evening?
TTT
11 days!
on saturday you will see this
Attached image(s)
and on sunday this, going from 0 elev. to 5720 elev.,did the drive today with dan in the tailtragger( his car no mine )a lot of fun
Attached image(s)
Today I sent in my registration, made hotel reservations in Lancaster for Sunday night, and told my buddy in H.B. that I would be crashing on his couch for several nights. I am excited!!!!!
The lead post has been edited again.
Ok, Ron, but what about Slits, will he be there?
Bump for Michael Nagy
There will be three or maybe four cars leaving Santa Clarita (just north of LA, just south of the Grapevine) heading south around 1:00ish on Friday and we will be on I-5 going down...Anyone who might be going thru, we could form a herd and take em' by storm...
2-OH!
If you guys leave at 1pm you can plan on traffic in the south. Be there by 2pm
WooHoo!!! We are leaving tomorrow! (Monday)!!!!!!
Got the brake system flushed/bled(and tightened back up....)drained and replaced the tranny fluid, oil change, general look around. Now I just have to pack up the car and be ready for Thursday AM launch.....can't wait......
May I have your ATTENTION, please ...
If your car doesn't have an FM [broadcast band] radio, don't forget to pack a portable FM radio for the 'DRIVE-IN MOVIE' (planned for Saturday night at the Double Tree parking lot)
Ahdoman will be providing a video projector and I just purchased one of these nifty little FM audio transmitters:
Don't forget the
Really looking forward to "pulling chocks" at 9am Friday - taking 101. Fresh oil change, brakes checked/bled and the turbo is not leaking oil!
Hey Joe: Just curious - how many 914s are currently scheduled to be in attendance?
We talked about LeMans, and a few others.
The main feature is going to be the 'original' "Gone in 60 Seconds" (1974). I think hope you boys and girls like it.
They shot a lot of this locally (here in the South Bay) ... saw a lot of the filming in Redondo Beach and Torrance (my neighborhoods)
All tasks are done. Packed the car. Leaving Tuesday mid day. Ya Baby!
Great Movie!!!
can't wait
Good idea with the movie guys!ClubDuB NARP is being loaded as we speak!
I have been working on the Alien since Friday night.
Pulled the timing belt, cooling tubes, Cam sprocket to fix an oil leak behind the sprocket. PITA!
Replaced the alternator. (70 amp Bosch to 140 amp small frame)
Replaced my cap, rotor and added a set of Megacor 8mm wires.
Adjusted my shift linkage.
Hard wired in a power inverter. ( I have to work in the car while Sandy drives... )
Hard wired in an accessory jack.
Rewired my fan relay and temp switch. I'm moving the temp switch from the radiator to the engine block. I had a huge fitting to attach to the head. It took hours to make a plate with the temp switch fit. I had to rewire the power from the front of the car to the rear. Remove the consule for access... I am having the engine temp turn the fans on instead of the radiator temp. This should keep my engine cooler this year. I had my block bored out and it heat up faster with thinner cylinders walls.
Tomorrow, change the oil and filter
Lean out the injection.
Check the tires, pack the car. I'm picking up Sandy at 4:30 Tuesday. and we hit the road!
One of the first things I did to our '71 was to install a Sony CD/MP3 player and ran the 'hot' lead to a 'hot' source on the fuse box
... so we don't need to leave the ignition on when parked in a romantic setting overlooking the Pacific Ocean from high atop the cliffs of the Palos Verdes Peninsula on a hot balmy evening
... however, I think Steve mentioned something about providing a portable sound system as well as a projector - you know, for those who might start congregating around the snack bar NEVERLAND instead of sitting in their car(s)
I don't know ... I've never attempted anything like this before.
There will be an intermission if anybody needs to recharge their battery
What is required for the track on Monday? Running 914 that passes tech inspection on Sunday, driver, helmet, long pants, longsleave shirt? Am I missing anything? Don't want to forget to pack something important.
Anyone comin' south on I-5, if you want to, we can form a herd and head south from here in Santa Clarita...Some of the folks from PNW may stop in and we already have at least three cars...Would like to leave before 1 in hopes of beating some of the heaviest traffic...
Coming south on I-5, get off at Rye Canyon exit (on the right, the one before Magic Mountain and the 1st as you come into Santa Clarita)...Turn Left...1st stop light is Rye Canyon...Turn Left...1st stop light is Avenue Stanford...Turn Left...1st two story building on your left, maybe 500 yds...You will see the old beat -up Speed Yellow teener sittin' out front...
The other guys are itchy to leave eariler the better...If we don't get outta here by 1, we will be sitting on the I-405 parking lot for a long time...At 1, we might just beat the traffic...
Lemme' know...via PM...

Just heard from Joe that our 914's will be the FEATURED cars at Coffee and Cars on Saturday!
This event should definitely be worth getting up early for so don't drink too much (or go to bed?) Friday night!

btw, you guys have a safe drive.... see you there
Last day at work before packing and heading down. Tested an in car video mount today and it worked fantastic. Almost killed my wife's HD camera with all the bumps etc while testing the camera / mount. I was afraid that I had lost about 1 year of family recordings off the hard drive on the camera. Luckily after restoring the camera's software the files were still there. I will use a less sensitive camera.
Holy crap.... It's almost here
I don't think my 914 even knows what's gonna happen this weekend
See you guys Friday!
See y'all tomorrow!!!! We are sooo looking forward to it!!!
Arrived late in Fort Morgan Co. last night. We are heading to Vegas today!

what post # is teh schedule of events? ^%$#&%$#&!!!
I wanna come play since I was able to clear my weekend
what, no pics from the site yet???
See you in the morning!
Had a great time, this weekend, hate it, but have to start trip back today. Wished I could have seen cars on track Monday, that would have been awesome. Everone was so awesome, so much great information available. I can't believe how many great modified 6s & 8s are here. My brother's 8 would have fit right in, maybe next year. My 6 conversion didn't make it in time, but my 86 911 with 180k made 16 hour 1100 mile trip with only gas stops & handled trip better than I did, hopefully trip back goes smoothly.
Would love if someone could send me photos of the event, and a short write up for the July issue.
