I dismantled the steering gear and there was what looked like heavy weight oil in one of the bellows. I presume this came from the steering rack and was there because the highlighted seal shown in the pic is leaking?

1) can you get new seals?
2) what type of oil is supposed to be in the rack?

Don't know about the seals, but there is grease in the rack not oil. May be don't need the seals if you have the correct lube in there.
