if'n it's in cali or the pnw you'd have to have a bbq soo....

1 guy "replacing the lamp"
2 guys running the bbq
4 guys drinkin' beers watching the 2 guys bbq and remarking on the sausages or meat patties.
5 guys watching the 1 guy replacing the lamp give'n him hell for ; being slow about it, doin' it wrong, not knowin' what he's doin', useing sea tools insted of metric, and more to add nauseum.
3 guys guys that cut up the parts car that the lamp came from [cause were all cheap bastards that use perfectly good used parts before we'll buy new ones.]

Posted by: familienauto Mar 2 2009, 05:54 PM

For the aircooled VW lovers out there

1 to ask if it is a 6V, 12V, or 6V converted to 12V.

4 to talk about modifying the light bulb to make it better/faster/more fun.

1 to ask "is that a stock light bulb or the racing version"

1 Jake Raby to argue about how he as done all the testing and has the ultimate light bulb kit and if you do it without his kit you must be an idiot.

7 to argue over Jake raby's input as to how he has the ultimate light bulb.

7 to argue over the cost of Jake's light bulb kit and the cost of light bulb kits in general.

4 to praise jake and talk about his kit even though they have never had one and are to cheap to buy one.

Wait just a GD minute! I represent that!

Oh, and have you made microfiber gloves to keep fingerprints from the bulb(s). You should think about it, particularly if you have an allergy to latex. And vinyl gloves are almost all powder coated!

Posted by: sww914 Mar 2 2009, 09:17 PM

And 12 people to tell you that you should only buy the whole 40 watt package from Jake, 8 people to slander Jake and 120 get pissed off that they slandered Jake.

Then, after a committee determines that the lightbulb was burned out before someone dropped it and stepped on it shattering it into a million peices we need someone in Florida with MAD SKILLS to build some wooden contraption and repair and rebuild the lightbulb so that it can be used again!
