PS: It's obviously not the red prototype that is currently in Germany as that one has the Sport-o-matic and the one in the early brochures is a manual ...

Ha! I noticed the way they have the muffler tucked under the fan too.

maybe it's for the guys who want to dump that crappy S engine and stick a 1.7 in their 911 . . .

That engine picture is for a 411 car not the 914.
