looking at the top end of the 1.8, there are two plastic square connectors on the side with the ecu connector. What are these for??
my 2.0 had a connector for the ecu and the plug for the relay board wich is on the other side.
it cant be a heater blower because it is on the passenger side.
anybody know.
thanks

The 2.0L is D-Jet, the 1.8L is L-Jet. You can't mix-match components between the two.
One thing that's probably missing for the 1.8L is the resistor pack that is mounted to the battery tray on L-Jet cars.
I ran a 1.8L motor using a 1.7L D-Jet setup for years, that worked just fine.

Maybe try BusDepot.com. They are located in Eastern PA if I recall.

The resistor pack is the same as a bus, but the relay is not. The Cap'n

I was able to use a bus relay after performing surgery on it.
IIRC, there is a missing ground pin, or it was moved... Plastic housing popped right open, salvage a pin from the smoked original solder a wire, etc.
Beat waiting for days to get the right one.
