OK. For those who have followed my learning curve, I have it running after numerous gremlins and witch hunters fantastic injector rebuild. So what is the normal idle speed for a bone stock 76 2.0?? I'm turning 1400 and I'm pretty sure my decelerate valve is kaput. I also inadvertantly spun the idle adj know on ECU so set it at midpoint to start. Any thoughts??? All new hoses and intake gaskets, too.

900 to 1000 would be just fine..

When running, pinch the hose going into the side of the decel valve. If it idles down put a plug in the hose. It fixed my problem.(hunting)

just a thought.

It's the speed at which your engine idles...
