914World.com _ 914World Garage _ Fuel tank sock

Posted by: silverteener Apr 22 2009, 08:34 PM

I had my tank cleaned and sealed but I need to find a new sock to put inside the tank. Are these still around? or is there something else I can use? I searched for one but couldn't find anything on them.

Thanks

bus boys will have the sock and washer/o-ring thing you need for it, cheap! could try a local vw dealer too now that Jim gave you the part number. http://www.bus-boys.com/fueltanks6879.html

I got mine from Bus Depot. The VW ones are a little longer but the important parts are the same.

longer means more surface filter area.
