Can I weld this up or use this on a street stock setup?

Not sure if the torque on the the bar would break the weld. Then again, it may last forever. It is worth a try.

I'd be more concerned about the weld ruining the sway bar's springiness (is that even a word?? confused24.gif ) It's the heat treatment that makes a sway bar different from just a long, bent piece of iron. . .

It's toast.....

Spring steel is notch sensitive meaning a crack WILL form in the notch...

Feeling lucky as to when it lets go and your handling changes al the sudden?????????

I agree with the above, spring steel is heat treated to be a spring, meaning it wil break (snap) if you try to bend it too much or at too sharp a radius...

Welding will turn that into a nice bendable section.........
