Put all four in baby food jars .... crank engine for 30 seconds*** ... you are looking for:

Spray characteristics ... nice conical mist
Volume of each

Disconnect coil so you don't produce any spark.

*** To avoid overheating starter ... 30 seconds max ... then let it cool.

on D jet - do 1 and 3 fire at same time - same for 2 and 4 ??

or is this only with L jet?

You can make a grid and measure the pattern of each injector too. Flow rate is easy. If it hasn't been done before, the o-rings should be replaced too.

I had a problem after a motor had been sitting for some time. Bosch makes an injector cleaning machine that measures everything. Injector places have them.

But I got instant results by soaking the injector tips in fuel and injector cleaner, and hooking the injectors up to a power source on my bench to get the wires moving.

Got them cleaned professionally after the car ran properly... just to be sure I had a baseline for each.

You should pull the spark plugs to allow the motor to turn easier.

They fire in pairs ..... I'd have to look it up to see which are pairs ...
