My 914 originally came with the 70' lap belts. I'm looking to upgrade to a newer style as mine where not only questionable, but in bad condition. Can I find a newer car and take them from there, or is there a update for them?
Has anyone ever tried this? Is there a car I can find at the local junk yard?

we sell the update kit. Not cheap but very nice complete with hardware, and easily installed. Keep those old seatbelts! They are worth a ton to the concours guys.
