As I read this 16 users vs 105 here.
I also read that Jake is getting out of 4 cyl. Someone can update that or correct the info.

Posted by: Dr Evil Sep 5 2009, 01:23 AM

Where did you hear that about Jake? I find that hard to believe.

I don't doubt that Brad is done with it, though.

So why are there 2 914 website that are nearly identical?

I've never seen an answer in my searches.

Posted by: hydroliftin Mar 25 2010, 01:26 PM

It's sad to see the club go. I hope someone picks it up and continues the site. I spend most of my time here, but it's good to have the club to visit too when I just can't get enough.

Posted by: Marty Yeoman Mar 25 2010, 01:27 PM

Looks like he was trying to sell a DVD with all the pictures that are hosted there at some point and all the people warning him about that changed his mind into trying to sell the domain on eBay.

Interesting...

It seems to me that Brad has said to either buy it from him or its going away. Now my fear here is that he will actualy do this, and we will loose all this information and people.

Could we possibly start a "get the 914 community back together" fund? I'd be down for donating.

Patssle, A few years ago we used to be the 914club, back when everything was roaring, Brad and Andy were partners. Andy wanted to keep the site a free and welcome environment and Brad saw a buisness oportunity and wanted to proceed with it. They went there separate ways and split the web site. Both retaining all the information.

None of us wanted the split, Not even Brad or Andy, yet they couldnt agree.

Seems all the information is on both sites.

After Brad deletes it Andy should put this site up for sale or it gets deleted then we should all panic. w00t.gif

Posted by: grantsfo Mar 25 2010, 02:14 PM

Is there really that much more content over there? I think not. At least not $5K worth. I think just let it die a natural death. That will consolidate 914 entusiasts here as I dont think there is anyone assed brained enough to buy a 914 chat board for $5000! But maybe I have underestimated value of a rusty car forum where people like me post? That would indicate my posts add value to a site. ...I dont think so!

Actually Jamie, I am glad it follows him as to all the people I know that are in the race prep community say he is nothing but a hack and rips off every good idea he comes up with. These are guys that are the true inventors and engineers in the fields we care about. I'd rather have is reputation proceed him than for him to be able to walk around unscathed and rip more people's hard work off.

If I am slighted by someone or see a fellow member be slighted I will always through a red flag as I do care. I didn't know if that was an ok thing to do. I just want the folks that I chat with about race related stuff to have a place to continue doing what we love to do. Chat about race related endeavours. Anybody realize the eBay Auction is over April 1

Posted by: Jake Raby Mar 25 2010, 09:19 PM

Looks like my phone call with Brad pushed him over the edge yesterday..

Five weeks ago I bought a Boxster hard top from one of Brad's customers in So Cal.. Brad agreed to do us both a favor and ship the top, crate it and all of that.. Of course I doubted it would ever happen, because Brad has NEVER fulfilled an obligation to me in the 10 years I've been talking to him, but I did it anyway..

After a few text messages and kicks in the ass from the seller Brad over and over again told me and the seller that the top would leave "No later than next Monday" or it'll leave Tuesday, I promise".. Yesterday another customer that was also waiting for his top to be shipped posted on Brad's Boxsterspec site bitching because he'd been waiting with excuses for 4 months. I finally had enough because Blake and I have to get this car on track in early summer and we already missed opportunities, so I make another post stating that I refused to wait 4 months and that Brad shouldn't obligate to things he could not live up to.

My response was bold, to the point and fairly abrasive, but I really didn't give a damn and still don't.. That post prompted a phone call from Brad in which I restated everything in my post online and commenced to tell him just how sorry it was to lie and make false promises to people. The phone call ended with some four letter expletives and I slammed the phone down..

15 minutes later the Boxster Spec site was taken down and all this other soap opera drama began.

I guess he couldn't handle the truth, he finally pissed off the one person that would tell him exactly like it is and not give a shit what he thought about it..

Like they say, if you can't handle the heat get out of the kitchen... or shut down the forum, or give it to nasa, or sell the forum on ebay... Either way, go change your tampon and take a damn midol.

Brad has asked for EVERY bit of difficulty he has ever experienced in this industry.

When he reads this or when one of his buddies sees it and copies and pastes it, just let the fact be known that I meant every damn thing I told him on the phone and I don't give a damn what he thinks about that..

Garbage in, garbage out. You can smell shady on that guy from over the internet.

My offer of 200$ for 914club stands, as it did before. smile.gif

The only reason I would call this guy, would be to prank call the hell out of him.

i would never think of letting any of my cash near him, or do any sort of business transaction with him involving more than like 150-200$. Then if he did not deliver, i'd have an excuse to beat his ass.

Did I mention I hate thieves, especially car thieves?

I for one am sorry to see the 914 Club go. I think most who post there post

here, I have contributed to every cause the 914 comminuty has ask for. And I

have recieved 1,000 times more in return. As for Brad , I will really miss him,

OH I just got over that, !!!!!!!

Posted by: flippa Mar 26 2010, 08:36 AM

I got back into 914's just after all the drama unfolded. I don't really know nor ever really cared about what caused the split. I don't know Brad; never had any dealings with him & really can't say anything bad.

I joined both sites but only lurk here. I didn't like the club site because it kind of felt like the Brad show. I find it amazing that the guy has almost 56,000 posts on 914club. Kind of creepy; he is always there!

I think that he may have a problem; he spends way too much time f-ing around online IMAO sheeplove.gif type.gif sheeplove.gif type.gif sheeplove.gif type.gif .

Just think about this for a minute. If Brad spent 3 minutes (average) per post between reading & responding, he has been online full time 8 hours per day for 350 days . THe three minute per post is probably way conservative, it probably is double or triple that amount of time on average. And that is just posting on the club site! That's a whole bunch of wasted time over the past 8 years.

Not that I am one who should be throwing stones; I am f-ing off at work right now sheeplove.gif . The difference is that my customers are not calling me all pissed off looking for their stuff.

Hey! Shut that thing off!!!! You damn kids spend way too much time playing on that gosh-darn computer internet thingie blink.gif type.gif !!!! All that darn texty-mc-texting & tweeting & blogging & such! Complete waste of time!!!!

Hey Brad, step away from the computer & get some work done!

Jake, maybe this will free up some of his time & you will see that top.

When I first heard about the offer to sell I said I would put up 10% of the asking price if we put together a buy. I just want to get back to one primary 914 technical site.

Someone here that could set up an escrow fund with the purpose of bringing the 2 sites back together and retire the club name? We could put in what we what and if the money isn't enough to buy, then refund all. Cash, Check by mail or paypal +3%? Personally I'd like just one site but would like access to the extra technical and posts that were on club.

It would be sad to lose all of the data that is on there that we don't have but I would rather not give Brad any money confused24.gif .

Someone want a few tech articles? cut and paste works wonders. And you should only need the author's permission, not the website owner's.

ie Jake's tech articles that might be over there... Jake, can we post your tech articles over here somewhere that are pasted over there?

I don't want to get involved with this dramatic shit at all.. I am sure that Brad is just looking for a reason to whine back at me, since it appears I pushed his ass over the edge.

I can write more tech articles, if they get lost its no big deal.. I'd rather write new ones as to hear pissing and moaning about transferring them.

Hell, I'd kick in a few bucks to unify the sites again, its been a cluster**** every since the parties split.

BTW_ The seller gave my money back for the top, he is a straight up guy that also fell for the "Bradgasm".

What began as a minor observation Feb 13th has come full circle. http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showtopic=103787&st=0 After I posted this six weeks ago, ar15.gif I felt as popular as the proverbial "Turd in a Punch Bowl" for having asked,! And now........ Anyway, I can't help but notice that Jake (being the professional that he is) half heartedly gives "club" an out in that post. I think the Boxster part was the proverbial "the Straw that Broke the Camels back", with Jake. I too, would support any consolidation efforts to preserve our knowledge base, whevever it might reside.

I agree in principal. Since I post both there and here, I wanted to add my $.02.

Knowing I have no conflict with Brad, I still have to ask; What is the real value of the club site? If someone wanted to compete with the world site, it might be of some value. But given the reduced number of active participants over at the club site, and given the active participation of most of the vendors and enthusiasists on the world site, I really don't know what value the club site is.

As an "URL" that is used to redirect to the world site, it's probably worth about $100.00. But other than that, does anybody have ideas of how the purchase of that site would improve the world site?

Again, this is my unbiased $.02.

agree.gif

If we do this, it would be mostly about the domain name. At this point, i don't think we would ever go back to be "914club.com" but being able to have that domain name and have it redirect here would help getting the two communities back together.

There are some members over there that don't participate here and i doubt a "merger" would get them back to being active here.

The new 914club content generated after the split would be a loss, but overall, i don't think the package justifies a $5k pricetag.

If Brad was interested in just selling the domain name for a reasonable price, i would be all for it.

Hey Andy

Any chance of getting a regional section on the forum if and when the site is taken down? If you go to the 914club site you can see alot of the post are from guys in the Northeast. Over here it's alot of west coast posts. Sadly the northeast post get lost over here really fast. I think Ray taking over as moderator has done alot to keep the 914club going as long as it has.

Just and idea.

As far as Brad goes I've met him a few times and he seems like a nice enough guy. confused24.gif

Posted by: tat2dphreak Mar 26 2010, 01:12 PM

I joined World long after the split and only found out about Club afterwards. I have no vested interest, and for the record, I think there's plenty of content over here and don't know what would be gained by bringing over their content.

However... just for post-2-1117899824.gif post-2-1117899824.gif and lol2.gif lol2.gif , I took a look at a Google search for Porsche 914.

Two thoughts:
1. Maybe we should start a campaign where members navigate to the site via a Google search instead of their bookmarks (or directly entering the URL) to drive up our page rank happy11.gif
2. Are we still the "Fastest growing" community for 914s? Or can we now call ourselves the Largest community...

Yes Jamie, I have been personally screwed by him.The reason the others will not be on is they are not members of our site. They are Cheif engineers of racing crews, designers of 911 and use to be 914 stuff. and other people who are very respected in the racing comuntiy. Some of whom will not do ANYTHING for 914s since their dealings with him.

Jamie, if you have a friend get robbed from someone, and you knew about what happened from that friend you trust, why would you not let others know?

There are copies floating around on the internet. Fair use law says as long as you are downloading for your own use and not resale you are legal. It may be that the poster has violated copyright law although the time period should have run on any copyright by now but you would not be.
Search this site or the other one. this was a hot topic about 3 or 4 years ago and the URL for the site should be in that thread.

Can you get a message too him?

Please tell him that Brad Roberts hosts Jeff Gamroths website and is physically working right now to implement an ecomm for Jeff's site?

Maybe my relationship with Jeff is something he has NO clue about?

I have a clue about it but don't know why it would matter. I haven't heard anything from Gamroth nor do I know him.

I was talking with a local Porsche good guy today, he brought up Brad and one other person on here (no names, no need to start shit) and he had all kinds of similar stuff to report about B-rad. Interesting thing was, he had no idea of this thread. Interesting. rolleyes.gif

If Brad is getting out of the 914 biz... does that mean he's selling "914club, inc." in it's entirety or just the domain and website?

There are some members over there that don't participate here and i doubt a "merger" would get them back to being active here.

I wouldn't miss some of them, lol! but I support the concept of a unified 914 community if it's do-able.
It seems to me the entire club forum database could be kept as an archive so it wouldn't be lost.
I was one of the people who initially sided with b during the split but it was more because of an absence of information than any other reason. Much of his "vision" just wasn't smart imo.

I've been posting slightly different content on both sites for a while since the "feel" is different in both places. This site has a lot more OT content in the garage which I don't care for. Club has been more technically oriented. I haven't noticed the regional difference that Ray sees though.

If 500 people paypalled me $10.60 I would buy it and turn the url over to 914world. Maybe I should start a group buy thread.

I think it's great that we have a place where we can go and talk about things, 914 car related, 914 business related etc, if you don't like the topic, no one is forcing you to read it. When things happened in the past, we talked about it in our forum, quite a few of us helped out with Brad's bailout etc. now, all of sudden we can't talk about it? I'm glad that people talk about their experiences with vendors, etc. It sounds to me that when Jon and Z did provide the proof that was asked for, some people didn't want to hear it. idea.gif

Well I am a very early 914club member and Brad has never done anything to personally upset me. Nor has anyone here, or at ClubNARP for that matter.

Therefore, I refuse to get my panties in a wad about this current drama but I would be willing to put up some bucks towards a unification of members, domains and content if such a thing is attempted and the approach seems solid.

I disagree with that analogy. In the CART/IRL fiasco, everyone lost ( including Tony George, who got tossed to the curb by his Mom & Sisters).

I have no problems with Brad ( heck, he was at my house a month ago), but he is involved with too much shit and therefore can't give 100% to anything. That he had to virtually comment on every thread on the Club to keep the post counts high is sad. I think Ray has done a very good job there.

I think Andy did the right thing - move to the background and let the kids play.

If somehow the World acquires the Club domain, we could change the name of the Paddock to the Club. It seems that a lot of action was in the A/X arena.

I say we find 50 people who will donate $106.00 and be done with this thread and move on. It would be worth it to me to have a unified club again, dispense with possibly 30 days of this drama and focus everyone's energy on working on their cars again. I must admit I really enjoy reading about the work/progress threads and the merger with the club site would bring more of that back into the garage.

This thread is worthless. It solves nothing, furthers nothing, and satisfies no one. I feel sorry for anyone that has posted here that gets satisfaction from running a guy into the ground. If people here dislike the other site so much, why is there so much being posted about its demise? I am surprised at most of you and your behavior. It reinforces what has gone wrong with sites, and why I realize most of these posts are truly worthless. IF I wanted to hear (or see) this kind of a soap opera, I would go to the local barber shop to hear the old cronies spin their tales.

I have no futher words to describe this, except sad.

I don't disagree with you about running a guy into the ground. I've tried to avoid posting anything that might be construed as such myself.

IMO however, what's really sad and reinforces what has gone wrong with the sites is the fact that the club site had to offered up to the highest bidder. Right here in this thread you called worthless there would seem to be enough people posting that would like to purchase it apparently in order to reunite the sites again. If this thread brings attention to a buyer or brings together a group of people that could purchase the club site and the domain for that purpose, than it's far from worthless.

I must say, I was extremely disappointed when the two sites split. Would bringing both sites together make it one again? I don't know. I have been thinking about this for while, Brad made a major difference to the 914 owners through out the world. There are other sites that have tried and failed, and sites (such as this one) that have been able to continue on and provide 914 owners the ability to share a little part of themselves, research info to help them achieve their goals and socialize. In my mind, no other person has moved the 914 community forward (especially in the past 8 years) like Brad has, despite his faults perceived or not.

We have seen relationships started, falter, rekindled, and outright destroyed. How we go about this is up to us. To forgive and forget must not be one of the ideals taught to 914 owners, because we have multiple year feuds going on here over what? When we are on our death bed, none of this will matter, but the thought that our search for true grace was never met, will.

1 site would make this place a lot better.

Then I wouldn't have to go to 3 or 4 other "914 related" websites to get the info I need, should I be getting another 914...

Let's see...
» 914 World
» 914 Club
» Club NARP
» AX Paddock

...

How many more after this?

Try turning your question around, how would keeping both sites separate bring the 914 community together? I can't see how that's a good thing. On the other hand this is an opportunity to actually make something whole again, if people can get past the ideas that this is somehow "winning" and "losing".

True, but think about that difference a little. Club is Brad's site, it was his personality, and he regularly reminded people it was also his personal for-profit enterprise. World, on the other hand, is community. It's certainly not based on Andy's personality (though it's a nice enough personality Andy biggrin.gif) There's no other motive for this site to exist, other than it being community. And that's also the reason it's thrived.

Again I say this isn't a sad, cataclysmic event, it's a golden opportunity to find a graceful and positive end to a bump in all our roads. There are a few people in both camps who are carrying grudges, but believe me, they aren't many and their personal issues will never withstand the group's collective desire to be one. In this respect it's excellent that Brad's making the issue money instead of personalities, because that makes a solution possible. If we had to resolve everyone's personal issues we'd be here forever. I hope whoever he's talking to about buying Club understands that too, or they're going to be disappointed.

Posted by: Andyrew Mar 27 2010, 07:15 PM

I am one of the few supporters of Brad. Flame me all you want but for me he has been a genuine guy.

My only reason for posting here has been that the idea of uniting under one roof is something that I downright would love to see. However Brad has already found a buyer for the club, someone who owns a few forums and someone who doesnt appear to be from the club. This saddens me in a way because the possibility of uniting has completely smashed.

I am one who will gladly pay to have the 914 community united again.

I know there are many of you that post on both sites. Many of you use different usre names. Why? I'm not scared to use the same user name, no body knows me...

That reminds me of this time I went to NJ for a transmission rebuild video. I had to use the restroom. I sat down and relieved myself. this nasty smell came up that made me gag.

Dr Evil went in a few minutes later all prepared with his shirt up over his nose, and came back out immediately gagging and trying not to throw up.

Let the Club site die and let the people slowly migrate over here or to where ever they want to go. If World proves to be the best 914 resource on the web(which I think it will), people will come. Done deal.

There is no super secret information over there that can't be reproduced or isn't known by people that post on World. Get over it. Let him go quietly and let people land where they feel most comfortable. No need to pony up $5 k for that!

Well, I found some plastic wrap that was from something right next to one of Zach's 5gal buckets that we use as a trash can. You probably guessed it by now. Push the trash down, put the plastic wrap in and pain30.gif

This made my day.

Can this thread be about poops now? It originally started off about one. smile.gif

Yes I do not care what people think of me. This is why we have the internets.

I started a new shift at work, 7:30/8am(DC traffic is so bad we have a floating 30 minutes)-5:30/6pm. I was doing 1pm-11pm.

I thought nothing of it until the first morning, come time to go. 6:55 I step out to the GTi, and it hits me. Oh man, the morning poop! It comes at this time!

Do the trot back inside running while clenching the cheeks. Bam morning bowel movement. 15 minutes late to work.....

And 15 minutes late every day since the past two weeks. MY body is on some schedule where I have to do my morning poop at exactly 6:55-7am. I have tried eating at different times, nothing is helping.

Tomorrow I have to talk to my boss about it and let him know it is not intentional, but until nature changes the course I will be about 15 minutes late each day, whether I have to stop somewhere or stay home that extra few minutes.

I imagine it's worth 5K just for the mailing list. Names, adresses, phone, email, ect. That kind of list would normally cost a fortune for multiple use. Plus many of the teener owners own other Porsches. Smart move!

Posted by: DBCooper Mar 28 2010, 03:07 PM

AutoAtlanta, no other. Look at the completed auction site, bid history http://offer.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewBids&item=280484294227 Notice the feedback number (2124 as I write this).

And then an AutoAtlanta auction like http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Porsche-914-octane-sticker-new-repro-item-auto- atlanta_W0QQitemZ330414180972QQcmdZViewItemQQptZMotors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessori
es?hash=item4cee384a6c#ht_500wt_749 Also feedback of 2124 as I write this (both were 2123 this morning early). It's AutoAtlanta, sighed by George Hussey.

Public auction so it's a little difficult to hide. If George really wanted to keep it secret he could have just given Brad a call.

I doubt that the sites will be merged. Club was a private enterprise before and I can't imagine George being so benevolent that he'd give that up now to make it all public, one big free community. I know I'm negatively biased when I think about George and AutoAtlanta, but think the Do It Pelican Style speculation earlier is more probable. I guess we'll see.

When we get tired of threads that go into bashing mode we turn them into a poo thread. Pretty simple logic there. George is a grown man and can speak up anytime he wants to. He is pretty good at interjecting his opinion as we all are. Trust me, when he is ready to talk he will. Until then he will sit back and watch what we have to say. stromberg.gif

So I have exciting news. The poop fairy visited last night. She bestowed upon me the digestive cycle I had been asking for.

6:30 am, BAM. My body rolled back 30 minutes for my new shift at work. It took two weeks or so but damn, it is nice. Perfect timing.

Morning protein shake of oats and whey, and baked wild caught sockeye salmon filet were the rewards for my digestive tract.

This is a sign of good things to come, an omen of great blessings in the future.

Interesting. Some more shit. I don't know exactly what this means, but one of the website evaluators pegs the worth of 914club at $11,000 (http://www.markosweb.com/www/914club.com/, down the page at "Website Worth")

While they value 914world at only a tenth of that (http://www.markosweb.com/www/914world.com/)

So Brad's selling cheap? That's pretty far-fetched, but maybe those numbers will help with George's inevitable buyer's remorse. Knowing both sites I'd say the evaluators need to work on their valuation algorithms, but some of the rest of the info and comparisons are interesting.

.

Posted by: charliew Mar 31 2010, 08:10 AM

Yeah and I have a bunch of projects in the back yard that could be worth 100k. Course I would need to invest 100k in materials to get them to that point. No labor of course.

Brad is probably thinking he got paid about .25 an hour adding the additional posts to his forum. I bet in 10 years he will think maybe he should have just stuck it out. He might be best at posting and hosting although he was always cordual to me and was very fast at welcoming me to his forum as were people here.

Sometimes idea men have a hard time staying focused. Kinda like me on projects.

In that case shouldn't one in charge say we will be closed for two weeks during reorganization and then open in 3 to 4 days? I have always been one to set low expectations and then over deliver.

The 914club has reputation of constantly setting very high expectations and really under delivering quite miserably. I was just hoping with ownership change that we would see a philosophical change in the way the club does business. But it appears to be mediocre business as usual.

I'm pretty sure I'm out of there if the guy from AA is the new owner however. Suspect the site will turn into AA infomercial space.

George,
The first thing you need to fix on the 914club site is the capability to post world url's to share information between the two sites. I thought it was pretty pathetic that I could not post a world link for someone who needed help with a topic that was already done on the world site. Personally, I surf both sites and try to stay out of the politics.

I sent money to Brad to help pay back subscription fees to disgruntled 914club members and keep site going during hard times right after the split. All voluntary on my part and it was truly nothing for me financially. I told Brad back then money came with no strings attached but to try to make things better. I sort of got a kick out of doing that without anyone knowing.

... Will be very intersting to see what happens going forward. Honestly I cant see it surving without Brad and key contributors but perhaps youre planning on defectors from the World. Yet another split? hissyfit.gif

I got some good info off of the club site especially when I was researching how I wanted to do the 911/944 style emergency brakes. I think that is also where I got on to the alfa romeo aluminum brembos.

Posted by: McMark Apr 1 2010, 10:39 PM

I don't see why Brad shut off access in the first place. Kinda sucks for the buyer to pay $5k, while the active members are cut off by the previous owner. The new owner paid for a running site, and what their getting is a site that forced it's membership to leave (by being shut temporarily).

george, if you don't know, and you are the only person with the right to ask... I don't get it?

FWIW I think the problem with having 2 sites was that they were both trying to be essentially the same thing, a community. but only one was full of people... there wasn't enough differentiation to support 2 duplicates... people would cross post, and guess which one got answers faster? the one with people.

I think George should do like the Pelican site. Why continue a copy of what we have here? Make it original somehow and AA related. It could be a boon for AA and the community.

I also agree with Steve (way up in an earlier post) that the banning of other site URLs was childish and unnecessary. It was that one more that made me decide to basically abandon that site.

If the pads are oily, they'll never wear out. C'mon! Look at the bright side.

They won't squeak either.

Nice one! cool.gif

They wouldn't be that tough to change... my starter is in the way though; and I'd have to install my real catch can for my coolant. av-943.gif

Only $1400 (no core)

these really work great though and allow a larger pad a vented rotor as well as and EMERGENCY brake and avoid welding a fixture onto the swing arm to hold the 911 style brake drum parking brake. Plus they will look just like the 916 rear brake setup we have here.
If you think about the total cost and the results, this is the rear caliper of choice for any 914 high performance application.

Probably true George but I already stop so fast I have to collect internal anatomy off the dash and put it back after autocross runs. I just want to maintain brake bias and lose unsprung weight. Nice shiny aluminum peeking through the Fuchs would be a plus as well... biggrin.gif

true, George... when my Money tree start producing, and I get Benjamins falling out of my ass, I'll put these right on my list smile.gif

What'd you do to get the Benjamins up there in the first place? barf.gif

That type of setup always reminds me of http://www.bryanf.com/510/index.htm.

Boxster calipers are cheeper and work very good

Posted by: RJMII Apr 2 2010, 08:19 PM

what does it take to make BS calipers work on an SC strut? and what does it take to make them work on the rears of a 914?

There are machined adapter blocks for putting Boxster calipers on a 914 with 911 front struts. The only modification you have to make is to the inboard reap pads so that they clear the factory mounting boss. Otherwise they are a true bolt on. I have it on my car. Great brakes.... literally pull out your eyeballs braking, and no fade. Use 911 Carrera front rotors and 911 SC rear rotors.

If you are interested in the adapters, contact Rich Johnson (a914guy@aol.com). He sells the kits, with all the proper installation hardware.

Alfa! Why not go all the way:

Ferrari 308 rear fit a six or a four with vented rotors by the way, just have to install an additional bleeder nipple

yes, and they work great on my six conversion.

I don't see why Brad shut off access in the first place. Kinda sucks for the buyer to pay $5k, while the active members are cut off by the previous owner. The new owner paid for a running site, and what their getting is a site that forced it's membership to leave (by being shut temporarily).

Why is it shut? confused24.gif

Same thing happened after the split, 914club was down a long time before it could get the servers up. that long time down was bad for the club as folks left. Meanwhile the world site was up and running and picked up more members. That long down time really killed off membership. It would be wise for new owner to get things up and running fast.
