What strikes me about that ebay ad is that the seller says the car is in "excellent condition", "the interior is very nice", and "very nice car".

The battery tray is missing and there are massive rust holes in that area, the interior is trashed, the gas tank setup is bizarre, the FI system is gone and replaced with a single carb, and everything looks filthy.

The seller also states "I don't know a lot about the car". Well, at least that part seems to be accurate.

I'm actually contemplating halving the stock gas tank to essentially do this. I notice in the race car around hard cornering I starve for fuel.

And it sold for $2,000.
Someone now has a serious project.
