The time has come to move on, after 13 years of ownership and restoration. I have all receipts, including original bill of sale in 1970. There has been so much done to this car, that I could write a book. Basics are....Raby inspired 2056, 140lb springs, front sway bar, new pedal cluster, bmw brakes, hell hole de-rusted and seams rewelded, rebuilt tranny... Newer paint (within 5 years), stainless fuel lines, stainless heat exchangers, all new brake rotors and pads, 19mm master cylinder, re-upholstered seats and door panels, vinyl wrapped dash, all new shifter bushings, smooth targa top.
This is a very clean, and fast car. asking 11,250 or best offer.

nice solid ride...raby cam, 9 to 1, ssi, nice heads, balanced guts, tuna can, Mallory distibutor, Bruce stone pedal set, terry cables, new shifter assembly bushings,
Mike, dont be shy. people like to know what went into it. this car is turn key with tons of good stuff, improvements and restored in all the key areas
cylinders lapped in, rings custom gapped, proper valve geometry, hydro valve springs, chro mo push rods, 911 swivel feet....

I'm sorry for the delayed response!! I'm not sure how much shipping would be to San Antonio, Texas. You could always fly out and drive it back.
The engine has about 2500 miles since rebuild. Not many at all.
3 worst problems....
1) getting the dellortos PERFECTLY dialed in.
2) ass end sitting higher than the front and requiring adjustable spring perches
3) slight paint cracking around rear fenders from when they were rolled out.

That shouldn't stop anyone. I just shipped a car from Utah to SC. From San Diego would be well under a $1000 because it's a high traffice route. You could even drive it back and have an adventure!
