FS: 1970 914-6 VIN # 914.043.0505 [email]quickspeedfix@yahoo.com] California factory original Canary Yellow Six with rebuilt 1969 2.0 911T by Joe Schneider Autohaus in Santa Barbara, California with less then 25,000 Miles. Original exhaust with heater boxes and Bursch exhaust, six Webers with original air intake. Car was a daily driver from Santa Barbara County to L. A. County for twenty years until the car and I retired. More recently the car has been in enclosed storage during the winter months and driven short distances in Oregon during the summer.

Extra Engine: 1973 2.4 911E rebuilt to 2.7 by Joe Schneider with Carrera 8.5 to 1 pistons and 2.3E cams. Engine was removed and stored after 100,000 miles with a loose head bolt. Both engines ran on freeways their entire lives. Car has never been tracked or raced on freeway with CHP approval. Car has 901 side shifter 5 speed with stock gears.

Body/Exterior: 1975 front clip, Can-Am fiberglass front air dam by Renegade, new windshield with black anadized trim, rebuilt rear calipers, original polished 15X6 Fuchs front, polished 15X8 Fuchs rear, new Yokohama rear tires, rear fenders have been mildly flared to accommodate wider tires. Rear trunk shock kit by Camp 914. No serious rust.

In addition to the extra engine I have numerous extra parts including: side windows, window regulator hardware, head light motors, interior trim, original 914-6 rear valance, 1975 front bumper and hardware, interior door panels, relays, extra tach, nuts and bolts, and on and on.

The buyer is responsible for vehicle pick up or shipping. Car is sold "as is" and there is no warranty expressed or implied. Ignore May 28,2013 price of $25,000.00 that was then. I have the Six, enclosed trailer and 2.7 core with pulled head bolt for sale. Price depends on what you are interested in plus numerous extra parts. Or everything.

This person posted this same ad a year or so ago and did the same thing, posted no pictures and never answered requests. I PM'd him asking for pictures and finally got a less than helpfull reply (and no pictures). I think he gets off on this stuff.

I saw a pic of this car on another site. Either thesamba or craigslist.

I’m so confused by the last post.

Sounds like it's still for sale. rolleyes.gif

@http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=9175 , post the 'now' price as required if you're selling, and pics if you want people to take you seriously.

What does 1975 front clip mean?

What does 1975 front clip mean?

Probably clipped with a '75 front to repair crash damage. Not good for a couple reasons.

I responded to the 2.7 block thread.
The poster seems to believe that this is EBay and we should be bidding. Total disregard for the rules, no pics, it all adds up to buyer beware.
If the blatant disregard for the forum isn’t a big red flag there are more. I don’t typically chime in on threads like this one, but really rubbed me the wrong way.

No, it has not been deleted. If you have an actual car for sale then sell it according to the rules or take a hike. You clearly are a joker that has no intention of actually selling anything. You post a busted case that you offer for more than the price of a known good, running, complete engine. You slap up an add you cut and pasted from 2013 then double back on your offer price. You, sir, have no respect.

Stop bumping this thread with replies. It only leads to frustration. Let it die a quick death. Or...make arrangements, fly to Portland and lay eyes on this car. The plane ticket is the cheapest insurance you can buy. Out of this one.
