This guy stopped by a VW shop the other day while I was consulting on a problem car. Says he has this '71 for sale, minus engine and tranny. I stopped by the place where he parks it and took a few pix. I have NO idea how much he wants for it, nor do I have ANY dog in this hunt. Name and Number furnished to anyone who asks for it. I think he's gonna include the Mahles, one of which has a substantial dent in the bead. Hell hole appears to be pretty good. The black paint covers the orange. Located in Buellton, CA, close to Solvang.
