Came across this on eBay. Seems to be worth further inquiry. Replace the BUBs with early bumpers and you may have a nice car. I have no knowledge of this car other than what is listed on eBay.

if some here is interested....find out where he lives in colorado..
could try and hook up if he is not too far..for a PPI...etc..
I have not seen the car..maybe down in the Springs??
Thanx Rx
According to the auction, it appears to be in Loveland CO.
The VIN is in the database and is associated with a user here that hasn't been active since 2010.
That looks like a damn nice red car. Most folks would be hard pressed to recreate it for the Reserve price. A lot of nice parts and it appears to have been completed with good consideration for most all components from what I can tell. BTW...I think the the 75-76 bumpers look great and separate the car stylistically from most all other conversions that pop up for sale...I guess I am biased...My yellow 6 conversion is below! Gonna be very interesting to see how this sale goes! Good luck to the seller.

Are those 951 16x7 porsche alloys?
It is Lyle's car so to speak..he built it for his daughter....
he is a retired engineer for Kodak..ran the plant so to speak...
and did first rate work on the car.....
someone is going to get an XLNT car!!
you can tell his technical side by his ad's wording..
An uber honest guy..
For those who wonder, these cars are amazing with a 2.7 power. Pretty much a bargain at BIN price.
Looks nice, but I would be very cautious... 0 feedback is always a red flag.
I was wondering if that was Lyle's... Always wondered if he finished that car, now I know.
Anyhow, I'm close too, if any serious buyers need eyes on it.

love this car. trying to do some back of the envelope math here. whats a 75 2.0l 4cyl with 70k orig mi (needs paint) worth?.......
And it is gone!
$22,000 wow. I guess I have an idea of what the market is paying for 6 conversions.
Maybe mine will be for sale soon.
