914World.com _ FS/WANTED: 914 Cars and Rollers _ FREE - Two 914's for parts

Posted by: billh1963 Nov 8 2015, 08:11 PM

Did you ever want to hoard old rusty 914 parts but weren't sure how to get started?

Here's your chance! laugh.gif

This is a package deal: a silver '72 and yellow '74 for parts. I have a title for one of the cars (I forget which one).

Neither car is restorable and neither have drive trains. However, there are still many parts available for picking....suspensions, panels, a couple of bumpers, glass, steering wheels, some seats, gauges, targa tops, headlight motors, fuel tanks, etc.

I'm tired of looking at them. $500 obo and come get them. That's crusher value.

Would you be willing to send me the small back left trim chrome trim piece (vertical) behind the window? I am missing that ONE piece.

Thanks

Sorry, Eric. The only time I plan to touch them again is helping push them onto a trailer for the new owner or onto a trailer to the crusher.

Going to crusher by the end of the month. I don't have the time or inclination to mess with this stuff and need the space.

Come get them both. No, I'm not interested in you coming to pick over them and leaving me with the sh!t...done that already. Bring help, bring a trailer and get them both.

New price...FREE! That should appeal to you BDMF'ers dry.gif

Damn, I was in SC a week ago with an empty trailer hitch... unfortunately I don't have a way to haul one let alone two.

As usual I'm too far away. Would take for sure.

Steve has said he will get them around mid-June. If he doesn't, they will be history

Will be hauling this off in the next few weeks. Come and get them. If you have a flatbed or big trailer I have a forklift I can load them with.

Hate to see all these parts go to the crusher. But, I'm not interested in breaking them down.

One car has a title..one does not. Price is FREE.

5 hours each way.
Little too far for a free car.
Any chance you can charge me?
Just kidding, good luck with *sale*.

I just had to chirp in....seems like a really good deal to get tons of never to be made again parts. Bruce would know.....isn't there a ton of value there for the price even with shipping? A parts car around and then two of them sure is nice when you are doing a resto.....there is always something you can pick off that you just can't buy anymore. Just had to say....thanks,
gg

I would like to get the two parts cars.
I am 100 miles from you.
Sent PM early. Figured I better say something before they are gone.

Matt2073 is first in line. If that falls through Bruce is next

Posted by: Bruce Edge Mar 21 2020, 07:45 PM

please let me know.

I bought your decent 74 shell (green), if you recall. My project is 98% done. Just this week, I gave away my rusty shell, and all the doors, and hoods, that came with the green shell (I used the parts I had). I completely understand just wanting to have them gone, vs parting things out. Its a lot of time to coordinate, for little reward.

Bill ,

Glad you are finding some interest from someone to part these out, glad you tried again , would be a shame to not salvage the usable parts here on these 2 cars. Wish I had space and time i would have jumped on them.

Posted by: stevegm Mar 29 2020, 07:17 AM

I will come get one or both, if nobody else ahead of my does. I’m not far from you.

Posted by: Pappy1975 Apr 27 2020, 02:06 PM

Hey Bill,
If you still have these, I would like to have them. I am in Greenville, so not too far from you!

Thanks,
David
