How about a picture of the interior with the houndstooth?

That is a beautiful Six at a fair price given the level of restoration assuming it is all correct, etc. GLWTS.

Was this at Werks Reunion in 14'? I seem to remember seeing it when I was there.

Posted by: Mueller Jan 16 2016, 01:12 PM

WOW....so very nice!

Posted by: geshaghi Jan 16 2016, 07:16 PM

Thanks for all the positive comments. This car was in the concours at the 2014 Werks Reunion. There was a short video produced about the car and the event, which can be seen here: https://vimeo.com/104125416
I'll post a link to some additional photos shortly for all those interested in seeing more details. The car is very nice, and I entered it in the local PCA concours today, where it won first in class (full concours) once again.

Car is still available. I was planning on driving it down to the Phoenix Club this Sunday, but rain is expected and I can't bear to drive this car in anything less than perfect weather. If anyone is in town for the weekend's festivities and would like to have a look, PM me with your phone number. Thanks

I'd judged this 914-6 at the Jan. 2016 Zone 8 Concours, & it is excellent, & had won 914/914-6 Class in Full Concours (maybe overall too, or it was very close, I don't recall the final total scores) - where all of the exterior, interior, storage, interior, undercarriage with engine & without (2 halves) 6 areas are judged (I was the Interior Judge).

I think the evil-bay ad has some pix from that event.

A very well done narrow body resto with the made-for-the-914 Mahle "Gas Burner" magnesium wheels.

Worth a look for anyone looking for a nice 914-6 in one of the more popular "jelly bean" colors!

Cheers! beerchug.gif
