Not mine, but maybe someone should go take a look at this car. The seller has no clue what he has, lists the engine number as the fan shroud part number. Lol!!

I don.t see the accelerator lever that is supposed to be behind the shift lever. Did all 914-6 have it? or is it the angle of the photos that is hiding the lever?

I like how the engine number listed in the auction just happens to be cast right into the fan shroud.
From the listing:
QUOTE
Engine # 9011061015R
On the other hand, the sticker says 2 liters, so there's a chance (however remote) that it might actually have the original engine.

9011061015 R is the spare parts number of the fan housing
Where is the engine#? Normally it must be a 640....

Does the VIN seem way off from the build date?
1970 VIN range: 9140430001 to 9140432668
The VIN on this one is 9140430183 which I think should be near the beginning of the MY run yet the door jam sticker says 1/70 - the middle of the MY run

Nope, this DOT sticker is well withing the range. The earliest January sticker I have was 914 043 0068 and the latest is 914 043 0245
