I've had this car for ten years but I'm getting older and my Cayman is much easier to drive. It isn't a concours car, it is fully caged and has a few warts. It was tweaked by Stoddard years ago and has most of the mods in the Panorama article attached below. Engine runs strong but rich, still needs some tuning.

So this car is one of the Stoddard specials - cool!
Hi Glenn,
I've known Glenn and his 914-6 a long time. I still remember a few years ago when you took me for a street ride and Wow, I still remember the thrill. This is a well sorted 914-6.
Guys, this is a good/honest 914 guy to work with.
Here's a pic from my archive files how it started life & after on the track.
Your buddy, Tom

It needs to go back to orange! I can do that if I get my rotisserie back.
Any pictures of underneath?
That is very cool. I hope someone buys it and enjoys it and does NOT restore it to stock!

Price reduced to $45,000 OBO
This is a great deal! If I didn't have three of them I would be all over this. (still tempted)
I think this is a very special six. If anything, it's underpriced. There is a category on the earlySregistry for other porsches. I would list it on the site. Quite s few guys on early S have 6's and they might appreciate this unique 6.
Trapper, how many hours/miles on the engine since it was built?
When you say early case do you mean aluminum case or early 914 case?
It's possible I have the original six engine from this car. Need to know the serial#. That may make a difference to a buyer.
Ha Ha!... now comes decision-making time!
I know where the engine is
Bump for my buddy Trapper's real 914-6.
Tom
I just wanted to update to let members know that the sale of my car is pending awaiting a PPI. I will update again as I hear the results.
I love the pull on the fenders and quarter panels! Does anyone else finish them this way today?
I HATE those kind of flare jobs, BUT...., with that documentation, it is pretty legit to keep it that way.
Congratulations on the sale!
I met the new owner of this car at Werks Reunion 2018 at Amelia Island but I failed to get contact info other than he lives in SE GA. Can anyone provide this...hopefully he is subscribed to this thread.
Thx, Jim L.
Also met the new owner at the Werks Reunion. Nice car. Talked with him about either to restore it back to the way it was. It is one of a hand that were built. Yes it takes dollars to do it, but it would a beautiful car to own.
Very good news, such a cool car and history!
