Maybe Scotty B could do a PPI
Seems to have sold, then not so much, relisted
Anyone here checked it out?
I'm in Va Beach, so only 2 hours away.
I had an LE when I was in high school, would love to have one again, but I suspect this "light restoration" won't end up being so light.
Good luck with the price I bet the reserve is $27k same as the sellers craigslist ad
$27K is a laugh. Only rebid to $9,100. Seems to have acquired some bad juju.
Is it still for sale?
Very interesting. It got bid to $17,500.00 last time on eBay. eBay called it "sold" and then it popped back on.
The seller would know!
"I speak German, French & English call any time (424)234-0048"
I emailed him after the auction ended res not met and he said it was sold. He responded fairly quickly.
Darn ,missed out on on a car worth 90.000 dm in Germany really why??,besides they aren't an early 911s or a 911r ,now those are limited production cars worth a bit, really????.
Dodgy seller ?????
90,000 DMs doesn't go very far in Germany these days!
Creamsicle LE on Double Deck!

Not under 100 as more registered !
Well I don't know if the deal failed but the seller listed it again at a higher price.
I own #15100 ...
Apparently like a bad penny....

Time for another E Bay auction.

No reserve again so maybe it will finally sell. I think the first time it had no reserve it ended at ~17k. I was actually corresponding back and fourth with the seller via email. He said he had another 914 in CA for sale in his warehouse - decent 75 2.0 he said. I kept asking for pics and they never came. The seller is a real flake.
Apparently now sold for $14,100.....or until it lists again with the same seller.
Check out the bid history. Looks like the same bidder running his own price up. This can't be legit.
Relisted and Up for Bid, Same Seller!

I've talked to the guy. Seems eccentric. I'm in MA...thinking about purchasing but I can't get down to VA to look st it. Can anyone local see it? I'd totally pay someone to check it out!
WARNING! Google the VIN of this LE and there is some scary history-Motor may be blown,Rust holes throughout- It was sold in 2010 for $1500
Car has sold for the new $13,995 Buy it Now Price.

But no need to worry about that as the same seller has relisted it and bidding is at $9,600. Nothing odd about that, right?

I guess this is why Ebay has no Credibility and Bring a Trailer has such awesome legit cars available everyday.
MA914er, I have met with this guy and seen some of his cars. He's local to me. Send me a PM if you would like to discuss further, happy to help if I can.
