1974 2.0L 914

Sunflower yellow with black interior.
Complete metal restoration and repaint in the original colour. (lots of pictures taken during restoration) All metal work was done at Restoration Design Inc. (www.restoration-design.com)
Clean interior with crack free dash
All electrical works, headlights, fog lights, turn signals, reverse lights, gauge lights.
New rubber seals on doors and front/rear trunks
Key matches all locks
Motor runs strong with original fuel injection (D-jetronic)
Stainless steel heat exchangers
Heater blower works.
New tires on 4 lug Fuchs
New 19mm master cylinder
Correct numbers matching engine with GA case

That looks like an early '74 build with lots of options....appearance package, forged alloy wheels, chrome bumpers, heated rear window, radio, etc. The restoration / build photos are very impressive.....some great rust repairs.

Did '74 914's have cloth seat inserts as an option?

Missing the carpet over the center hump and the foam piece behind the pass feet carpet.

Wow! That was a terrific restoration thread showing all of the metal work that went into this car. That is going to make someone happy. Please return the valances and rockers to satin black and have the bumpers re-chromed and then just drive that baby. That is a very nice car.

Also missing the VIN/compliance sticker on the driver's door jamb. That could be a potential problem for importing and registering in the US. Might need to order a replacement from Carbone prior to trying to get it across the border.
