For sale is my 1970 914/6. It is originally a EU model, so it has kilometers on the dash. It is a very, very clean driver. It was restored, not by me, a few years back. It was restored to the COA, including the corduroy seats (which I love). The previous owner put the "Porsche" on the engine cover mesh - it's not correct for a EU model, but can be easily removed. I had a short shift kit installed to tighten up the notoriously sloppy gearbox on these.
Has the normal puff of smoke on most startups, but not all. After a mile or so no longer has any smoke. I believe this is normal for the sixes from everything I've read and people I've talked to. Has about 49,500 km on it. It is believed to have turned over once.
It has a fair amount of paperwork from the original owner with the car. It is very clean.
This is a wonderful driver six. Sounds wonderful, runs great. It's a magic car.
Asking SOLD. Happy to take it to a local shop for an inspection for serious buyers.
Happy to answer questions; would prefer DM.

Beautiful car. I'm not a buyer but I love all the great pics. GLWTS.
Very Nice.. Very Nice!!
I want the Mini in the background
Looks like it is missing some original parts, rearview mirror, outside mirror are both late ones. Rear valance notched no porthole, water bottle is not correct. Are the Fuchs 14"? Anything else not original?
A really nice one just sold over on BAT for $82k.

Yes, 14".
$82k plus commission, but, yes, it did.
Regarding originality: the engine is original. I don't know that the transmission is. It doesn't match the COA, but it's super rare to even have a transmission number on the COA and they're notoriously inaccurate. Like I said in the original posting, this is a nice driver. It is not a concours car. If it was, the asking price would be more like $125k or more. I hope that helps.
Very nice, would not take much to turn this one into a perfect six!
GLWS

Really nice looking car - one thing I noticed was the lack of targa storage hardware in the trunk. no front clips or rear rubber retainers.
