WOW - If I could afford a 6 that would be the one!
If it doesn't stay in our "family" I'd love to see what it goes for on BAT. The prices are staggering.

Looks like the Tach and combo gauge are non-original, is the speedometer original? Do you have original gauges? Does the dash have a cap on it, hard to tell from pictures.

BTW: Which transmission does it have?

Yes, someone once told me the Tach was a 911 Turbo tach with the boost converted to the oil pressure gauge. The dash is a very nice original dash pad (not a cap).

I did not build the car so I don't know all of the details.

I just had this ad brought to my attention. I'm the one who did the restoration on this car and sold it on BaT in 2011. Damn it's good to see it. Glad to see its been well maintained and continued to be improved.

Question for seller, When I sold it, it had a close ratio gear set in it. A, F, Ka, Q, X if I recall correctly. Was that swapped out for stock 4 gears or was the whole transmission swapped?

Just the gears were swapped out, it still has the GT Torque Biasing Differential.

Thanks,
Dominic

It was great meeting Ben and his family today. Sad to see the car go, but happy my -6 is going to a good home :-)
Thank you all for the help filling in the blanks with the history of this car and thank you again Michael @http://www.914world.com/bbs2/index.php?showuser=9712 for performing a PPI for the new buyer.

We still have our 73' 2.0L in the collection, so I'll still be here for many years to come beerchug.gif

I'm happy to have some space in my garage for now...I have some racing Go-Karts to rebuild as well as a restoration to start on my 67' 911 smash.gif
Cheers,
Dominic
