914World.com _ FS/WANTED: 914 Cars and Rollers _ Rust Free 1970 Factory 6 project Car Ivory/Black

I bought this car from Ethan in 2013? Wow! time flies! Anywho, we finally were able to come to a place in our lives when we are able to start building a new house.

We can't own both the house we live in and build the new place. Our current house is going up for sale. I have 8 cars to move and tons of parts. Something has to go.

Since I purchased the car I have purchased lots of stuff for it.

What I have:

2.7S CIS Engine purchased from Slits. It is wired to plug into the relay board and has the 914 style oil cooler. I have new soft lines. I sent the hard line to Eric Shea and had him send it in to be re-plated. I have a set of headers and factory style muffler. I have an oil tank that needs a small repair. There are a few pin holes in it. Still need the filler neck and dip stick. I have engine tin. Mostly everything to install the engine. Need throttle linkage.

I have a set of 16X6 Fuch wheels. Need new tires.

I have a full set of new PMB calipers front & rear and a new 19mm master cylinder.

I have a set of NOS front fenders.

The car has 74 seats in it now. I have purchased the correct 1970 leatherette style seats. These will be part of the sale.

When I purchased the car it had the battery mounted in the front trunk. I purchased a new battery stand & tray to get it back where it belongs.

I did a rough pull on the front to relieve the stress. The car is ready to be placed on fixtures and have the clip repaired.

My goal has always been to just repair the front clip and leave it as it was when Rocky owed the car. He was an honorary member of the So-Cal R Group. I always thought that was really cool.

Unfortunately my Celette is tied up with Juergen's car. I will not be able to get back to my 6 for at least a year.

I want $ 20k for the car. If I end up moving the car to my son's house it will no longer be for sale. I figure I have about a month to either sell the car or move it.

The car did not com with the transaxle. I purchased a set of 6 gears including the main shaft and have a core tail shaft transaxle ready to build.

I have the COA. Here is a link to the thread I started on the car. I will post photos of the most common areas of concern for your review. this is not a rusty car or a patched up rusty car.
