On ebay, they say better than regular 914-6

It is a broker. I was in contact with him. I inquired about the reserve and he said that it was "reasonable" in the mid-90's.
That car needs some love and a bit of work to make it nice based upon the pictures. "Painstakingly restored" is not how I would describe that car as it sits unless the restoration was 30 years ago and it has been rode hard and put away wet since then. Lots of room for improvement. If the seller is thinking this conversion 914-6 is in the $90K range.......I want some of what he is smoking (not really).
However, it does have a lot of great stuff on it and it looks like a 7 overall to me. That would be a great starting point in the high $20's or low $30K range if the body and mechanicals all check out.
As always, do a thorough PPI and know what you are getting. I would be more comfortable with this car if they had the full restoration pictures and documentation for all of the build/work.
Really poor photo's. Mid 90's reserve, Lol!
New meaning of narrow body!
I like the crinkled bumper where the "Tits" were
Bid to $82K- wow!!
Yes that is a crazy price. Bid history looks suspect.
Car had a "2.7 RS" spec in it once. Have no idea how it was kept cool. Even a 2.2 S came with an external cooler.

Lot of fluff in the ad by the broker.
Fishy bidding to be sure....
Mongo no like this car.
All the work on the car and it still has a tail-shift transmission?
Ended at $82.6K Not marked sold
No surprise. Not sure what kind of bidding scams can occur on EBay this looked like one
"Shill bidder"
"Trust Integrity Results"
$65,000 engine ?
