Hi there - I am listing my 1973 914 rolling shell that has some rust in the usual areas and will need some attention but appears to have never been in an accident. There are a few issues (listed below), but nothing extremely difficult (hell hole and longs are good-just lots of thin surface rust). A sandblaster or wire brush would clean this up decently. This would make a great start for a race car or to restore - $500.
Issues (all in pictures):
Both doors have dents (shot lines are perfect, however)
Both rear fenders have dents
Rear strut tower mounting has rusted and separated from body
Small hole in floor next to seat bracket mount
Small hole in rear trunk
Flat tires
Good:
Comes with front and rear suspension
Passenger door has both glass and regulator
Has steering!
Dash structure intact
5 steel "sport" wheels
Body is pretty straight
MOST of the rust in photos is surface rust and a lot of desert dust. It looks worse in the pictures than it really is. Sandblast it and paint it and it'll be much better
It's in my enclosed trailer - I can deliver locally or outside of San Diego for a small fee.
Here are the pictures.
