No affiliation- just came across the ad. Interesting car at reasonable price:
https://philadelphia.craigslist.org/cto/d/unionville-1973-porsche-4-cylinder/7278783900.html
It says 1973, but has ‘76 bumpers. Asking $20k. Here’s the text of the ad:
FS: 1973 Porsche 914 2.4L 4 cylinder
Owned 16+ years. 57,790 miles. Rust free, lightly restored 17 years ago when minor rust issues were resolved, and paint was resprayed in original Phoenix Red. Many upgrades to make for a very competitive track/autocross car. Suspension upgrades include:
Koni sport shocks (adjustable rear)
Weltmeister 140 lb springs in rear
Weltmeister 19mm swaybar in front
adjustable drop links
solid transmission mounts
The worked up 2.4l engine runs dual Weber 40s with K&N filters. A custom header runs into a Supertrapp tunable muffler.
Wheels are ATS 55151 5 ½”x15” wrapped in Falken Azenis summer performance tires.
Stock seats were replaced with Corbeau buckets with matching 5-point harnesses (stock seatbelts remain).
Dino steering wheel with quick release hub replaces stock unit.
New fuel lines, fuel pump and filter. New rear calipers and pads.
This car was extremely competitive for me when I autocrossed with SCCA and PCA events. A real head turner at both race events and car shows.
Always garage kept.
No Trades.
The Odo says 57K miles, but the car says...
Take another gander at those bumpers...
