“Classic 1972 Porsche 914 for sale $10,000.
VIN 4722906247. Clean Title. It was my brother's car; he gave it to me before he died. He was a professional mechanic and did all the engine work himself including the bodywork. He only drove it on special occasions/seldom driven. Don't have much information about the car: 2Liter engine, 4 cylinder, big bore stroker kit, stock transmission and targa top and only what you see in the photos. It has been sitting in storage for about five years. All the tires are flat. It was running before it was put in storage and it has not been driven or turned on ever since. I doubt it will run after sitting for so long. It was a very well maintained vehicle prior to storage. I would recommend a flatbed truck for whoever purchases it. It has a manual transmission and I don't know how to drive a stick shift. Selling AS IS.
Serious inquiries only.
No trades.
CASH ONLY.
Mileage Unknown.”
I've definitely seen this car, but I thought it had a hotter engine setup.
This car made a brief appearance at WCR2019.
I recall because of the unusual paint scheme.
I didn't talk to the guy.
O
I've sent two emails to the seller early this week, but still no response.
I saw this car several times at the German Autofest in Ventura, CA.
Owner was Victor, he may have been a Seebee, hence the camo paint design.
Back when I saw it in Ventura, it sounded good.Always liked the way it ran..,
I found the pic from the 2006 GAF....and I updated the VINdatabase

I had reached out to her when the ad first popped up last Feburary, 2020. She wouldn't show it because of Covid, and was not ready to see people. I saw it popped back up. She will respond to you, easier on the Facebook ad, if it is still up.
I remember someone looking at it and saying the front fender flare was mis mounted as it is too far forward and would both would need to be removed to look proper. The photos dont show the car from the true side so hard to tell. She said she knows nothing about it mechanically and she was not real flexible at the time on price. Maybe that changed, but it has sat an additional year... thats all I know.
Worthy of a rescue, oh and loose the boy racer wing...
Looks like it has real potential - worth taking a look at.
I also emailed about this car a week ago and got no answer, until today when I got a response which simply said "sold thank you for your interest".
