I'm selling my 71 914, engine built to a 2.2, 40 weber carbs. engine has 1,100 miles on it so far. Trans gone through 1 year ago. Tuned headers, newly done interior except dash. Sound proofing on floor boards. All new rubber through out from 914Rubber. body is in good shape, had work done to hell hole, and longs look good with repair on side jack points (right side)of course. This car runs good, but still messing with jets at a higher rpm. good and true on the road. I'll be posting pictures soon, it's been cold up here at N.AZ. I'm getting to old to get in and out. The 914 is a daily driver up here. Help me on a price after I post some pictures https://www.thesamba.com/vw/classifieds/detail.php?id=2461459

Looks nice and clean
Looks clean - good luck.
Pictures of the hell hole, floors, usual rust spots etc. can (generally) only help the sale.
Has any work been done to the suspension? Sway bars, shocks...
Well I got a guy flying in from Texas to Prescott to check it out Sunday. I sent him a pile of pictures and he wants the 914. Coming down with cash, and he's going to send a carrier to pick it up, if all goes well. Wish me luck guys. I'm going to buying a new 3.0 turbo Supra premium.
Good luck and congrats if it sells . . .
I suspect your grandkids would get a lot more for the 914 in 30 years than for the (ahem, BMW) Supra - as fun as it might be for you now . . .
Sold, It's gone, A Doctor from Texas Flew in today, gave it the go over, drove it and bought it. Was done in less than two hours, and flew back to Texas. Transporter coming next week to pick it up. All done in six days. I really appreciate all the help from you guys on 914world. You've all been great and helpful during the time owning the 914. the gentleman that bought was real excited. It's going to a good home, take care everyone.
Congrats - enjoy the Supra!
